Had this spreadsheet for a bit now, mostly for personal use, but decided it was time to see if the community could use it.
What makes it different:
My spreadsheet works by letting you put in your own items, then adds it up for you. No longer do you have to add up the numbers yourself! This, of course, makes the process a bit slower, but does allow you to test individual item changes (and is built to allow you to do just that).
It works for every class. If it doesn't (and I'm sure bugs exist) I will fix it.
It is built to be expanded beyond just damage -- mitigation, spell breakdowns, EH, TTL, all things I can add with this design.
It requires Excel
It's made by a WD! Currently just over 125k damage. Inferno Diablo? No problem!
Please let me know if you have any suggestions/input of any sort. If you think my spreadsheet is a waste of time, please let me know why! Or better yet, what it would need to make you use it. Let me know of any bugs you find or features you think would be helpful that you haven't found elsewhere and I will see what I can do to add them.
Don't touch green, use the dropdown for blue, and fill in numbers for yellow! Feel free to only include the stats that are relevant to you to speed it up.
Thanks for the work on this, helps me pick out new items.
First off; the lookup on weapon speed is failing somehow. I can manually put it in, but can probably due for fixin. I do use Open Office, so maybe that's it.
Secondly; I use a crit-based build where I just take pot shots. As such "Damage" as a stat is misleading and not very useful to me. DPS is completely irrelevant, single hits are where it's at. Would there be a way to look at this in the spreadsheet? x-x damage per hit? On crits?
Could be too complex to be worth while. Just figured I'd ask.
I use a crit-based build as well (as does probably everyone who is over 100k dps). I fail to see, however, why you believe "damage" is misleading, as damage still tells you the average amount of time necessary to do a specific amount of damage, and, unless you are fighting a single weak mob, that would seem to me to be the most important thing.
It is something I may be able to do, just wanted to try to figure out the exact motivation. Unfortunately, this was not built for openoffice, and I have had a few friends suggest it doesn't work on that platform
Everything else seem to work. Just that one field. Easily worked around
As for why;
"Damage" figures in Attack Speed. Which means it's a "Damage Per Time", I don't think it's second however the only way they could figure it means it assumes you stand still and cast. With my build I NEVER just stand and cast. I cast, run, cast, run, cast. As such any and all attack speed is just completely meaningless. It's actually WAY more important for me to know how much each cast will hurt than how much damage I can do in theory if I was immune to death.
If you could just do a "Damage" average that completely ignored attacked speed that would probably fit my needs just fine. Anything that would make that number go up is what I want.
That's the same error I reported. If you just replace the error message with the weapons actual base attack speed (Unmodified, you can find it on the stats page I think). It works just fine. The lookup is all that's broken.
So I gave the spreadsheet a whirl and the interface is simple enough - just my damage does not match up. In game I currently have 27157, the spreadsheet says I have 26877 - a difference of 280
The Int, Crit Hit chance and Damage numbers are all the same.. so I am guessing its something to do with how I have input my weapon ?
I am currently using a 2h Sword I entered my Int, vit and increased crit hit damage stats. I than added the weapon low dmg 615 and max damage 1114 ?
Stats of my 2h Sword are 951 dps, 1.1 As, 139 Int, 107 vit, 78% increased crit hit damage, has a damage range of 615-1114 calculated into that is the 212-549 fire dmg.
I was wondering exactly do I add the stats of the 2h as thats where my fault lies I believe
attempted it with my MH/OH combo and the difference was 339 dps

Hope that clarifies!
i guess you understand Fejl:509=Error:509 ofc
