for those unfamiliar, here is convention of the elements secondary:
Gain 150–200% increased damage to a single element for 4 seconds. This effect rotates through the elements available to your class in the following order: Arcane, Cold, Fire, Holy, Lightning, Physical, Poison.
For us barbarians, it only cycles cold, fire, lightning, and physical damage because those are the only elements available to us. Now.. I have a few questions regarding how rend is effected by the rotation elemental buff:
For our purposes, lets say we are using Rend - Bloodbath, so we want to take advantage of the physical damage buff.
If rend is currently bleeding on the target, and the CoE physical buff comes up, will it increase the damage of the current bleeding by 150-200% immediately? Or do we have to reapply?
If rend has to be reapplied during the CoE physical buff duration to gain the 150-200% dmg, does it gain it for the entire duration of the rend? Or only during the 4sec CoE phys damage buff?

Any info is appreciated! Thanks!
Only during the 4 secs. And no need to reapply it when its up.
