What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, as many would like to say. Except in this case, will it actually stay in Vegas..? Or will it be streamed live across the world over the internet? The World of the Sanctuary, The Chat Gem, and Deckard Cain will be coming to Sin City on July 30th and July 31st, 2010 as seen on the Las Vegas Convention Center booking page.

So basically, they are not confirming it, yet they are not denying it. Since nothing has been set in stone out of the mouth of Blizzard, I would hold off on buying travel arrangements, there's still a good year to go. However, I would expect to be making a Vegas Vacation. And who knows, maybe Chevy Chase will join us? Source Warcraft Twitter

Blizzard always leaves us with mysteries...

Might not be set in stone but do Blizzard do phantom bookings to throw fans off the scent? Why would they do that anyway?
Heck, if I didn't have to stump up for an international air fare I'd be booking accom now so as to save $$$.
And give myself an extra day or two in Vegas to spend some of that hard earned I had otherwise saved

So we've got over the problem of colour in D3. Great. Now let's argue about everything else not yet set in stone and help make this game simply great! Game on.
Updated the post with the tweet from the Warcraft Twitter. I would still expect to go to Vegas though, ;). Elvis impersonators with soul stones in their foreheads... Perfect.
From what I can see on the Las Vegas Convention Center site, the place can hold up to 100,000 people (San Diego's convention center can hold over 126,000 by the way). So why not bump up the number of attendees even more?
It would be ridiculously crowded, they can only do so much at once. Think about how long the lines for the Open Gaming would be, etc.
One of these years I hope they make it to the east coast I can't believe it's almost here again, though. Only like what, half a year? It just doesn't seem very far off.
The more attendees, the more computers there will be in the demo areas. If things are managed as well in 2010 as they had been this year, that shouldn't be too much of a concern.
While that is true, you then have to think about the Blizzard Employees that need to run it. Now they'll be needing to spread their employment thinner.

I'm excited, ;). I just can't wait for the "official" official announcement.
I think there's no denying that we'll see a release date this time 'round. That's what I'm excited for most, that and the 5th class, but I think we'll see the class before July.

I suppose if could go, I would be pretty excited too... Will be in UK at that time though...*sigh*...
Just waiting another 6-7months for news of D3 is no exciting prospect at all:(
Hey who knows, maybe we'll finally get news of that 1.13 patch then???:P
LOL.
PAX is held in Seattle, BlizzCon should be somewhere else. Why the change from Anaheim to Vegas, I do not know...
I went to Seattle Labor Day weekend and a lot of people on the plane there were going to PAX. I was just there to relax though and eat fresh figs and smoked salmon and go to Pike's Place, and etc, etc.

Yeah, our convention center is actually pretty amazing. Seattle is known for festivals... Hempfest and Bumbershoot, it's just amazing.

Oh yeah...
I don't think that Vegas is really suitable for Blizzcon.
"Vegas, city of $10 marriages, $1 cocktails, and Diablo 3"
I really hope that they relocate it, Vegas is just so... inappropriate.
