Oh wait, my bad. It's St Patricks Day. Same concept though, right? Praising mass killers and all.
Of course, Jewish people might find this offensive, but I find it offensive too. St Patricks day is just like St Hitlers day. So why do we have it? Because nobody gives a fuck about the past. So let's all go get drunk and celebrate St Patricks day and St Hitlers day.
We got Pagans and Jewish people, I wonder who will be Cannonized next, for killing Muslims of course. Hmmm.
I agree with you LinkX. Why do we celebrate evil people? I would like to know that, but on the other hand. They were great masterminds, but they used their great knowledge for evil instead of good.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
St Patrick was like Hitler in many ways. He chased "snakes" (Which are considered today as the Pagans.), he burned down Pagan churches, burnt Pagan books, etc, etc.
Celebrating St Patricks Day is like celebrating the Holocaust. The only difference is St Patricks day was of Pagans and the Holocaust was of Jewish people.
But hey, it's all cool. When's St Hitlers Day again?

I haven't actually read anything about him mass killing pagans...though I have read where he drove "snakes" away from Ireland. Of course I've only refreshed my memory by using Wikipedia, and well all know the credibility of Wikipedia.
i think of myself a pagan. but still i dont really give a f**k at the moment who killed pagans and shit.
It's not so much that they killed Pagans, I mean humans kill others that they dissagree with all the time. It's that people celebrate it. I mean would you celebrate the Holocaust?

Yea. Snakes was a metaphor for Pagans. Remember, Christians use metaphors all the time.

I mean, who cares about the jews anyway (sarcasim...)
Today, I found out that a girl in my art class has a jewish grandpa... so like... It didn't work out well...
It is true though, eh? St Patrick, St Hitler, wonder who will be next.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

acctually i have a deck of tarrot cards that are based on the druid tradition.
What do you mean? I don't think I am following.
And I love that question Alpha. "You believe in Druids?"
By the way, I have a good friend that's a Druid. Well, both he and his wife.
dude thats awsome:cool:
Well you have to understand, it's Wikipedia. And while Wikipedia is usually pretty good, it's capable of being edited by anyone.
Which means you or I could go and change it. Or a radical Christian could go in and say it was actual snakes.
