Well, my cheap old Gigabyte mouse bit the dust this morning. Left-Click is now well and truly broken. It had started to multi-click and release on hold but now it simply does not register the action of left-click.
Taken from an unsuccessful poll I created on the MMO-C forums:
I think I've narrowed down my hunt for a new gaming mouse to these two... but I'm open to suggestions if anyone can testify in favor of another mouse that meets the criteria I've been pondering.
- Right-handed, claw grip friendly. I play with a relaxed claw grip with a high wrist pad so a low profile and contour shape are important as is the grip surface. Gotta' have that rubberized feel to it.
- Easy-to-use thumb buttons. The M90 looks a bit daunting but appears much easier to use than a standard Naga, which I hate the feel of - however the Naga Hex looks very impressive. The Tt mouse only has the 3, but with a modifier used on the right button that makes it 6, which is plenty.
- $75 price point. This negates most wireless (not interested) and overly flashy mice with too much price dedicated to marketing and packaging. Note that I'm evaluating these two mice on their current Newegg prices of $65 and $60 respectively, which gives me limited time. Availability on Amazon for the same prices may extend that window.
- Good customer support and product awareness. Corsair and Thermaltake are both highly reputable for their support when dealing with RMA and troubleshooting, which is a big factor in my decision. They both have active user forums, as well. Another thing to note is that each of these mice have received firmware updates, which shows that they want to improve on their design. I don't want any foreign branding where I'm very unlikely to get tech support or even end-user advice.
To anyone who actually owns either of these mice; Please post an opinion as well as any experiences you've had. To anyone else, feel free to share your opinions on your mouse, providing it fits my limited criteria.. Also, please vote!
This is probably a good place to throw out the reminder that you don't need to spam click in D3. Holding down left click will actually attack faster than spam-clicking will.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I grew up gaming without internet forums. The entire phenomenon of being upset with a game developer makes no sense to me. No sense. I cannot imagine spending my time and energy being upset about something I choose to do for recreation.

For starters, I'll link product websites:

http://www.ttesports.com/products/pr...g=feature&s=16 ($60@Newegg)
