Any other fans of him? I love The Sandman series of comics (only read a couple though). Stardust was really good. Right now I'm reading his collection of short stories, Smoke and Mirrors. Good stuff. If anyone could recommend a novel of his for me, I'd appreciate it.

Oh, he's a marvelous writer. Have all the issues of Sandman (gathered in book form) and some of his books. He just have a ability to mix reality, fantasy, dreams and nightmares in a fantastic way, which makes you wonder if some of it really is true
And you just have to enjoy it when he mixes other well known characters and creatures into his stories
I loved the "A Midsummer Night's Dream" recreation. That was awesome.

You really need to read all of Sandman, everything fits together so nicely
The only thing that annoys me, is how they chose to draw the Sandman himself. I'm sure it looked cool and fashionable in the 80s-90s when they started, but sometimes he just looks like an emo Mac Gyver... which can be entertaining at times:P
Haha very true. My first experience with the Sandman was when my sister had a class at college about comics. (Goddamn liberal art majors..) Anyway, she brought back Season of Mists. I loved it and became interested in Gaiman. Any recommendation on what novel I should get next? As in a favorite?

Ahh... I don't think I have read so much more of him... I just don't have the time, nor the books. The only book that comes in mind, that I have actually read, is Coraline, which I belive to be a childrens book. I read it when I was little, and I am frankly a bit scared to read it again, since I might find it to be less than my memories. But it was a good, creepy book when I read it, and if you are 14 years or younger, I will reccomend it, if you are older, keep in mind that it is written for children, and you will do fine
I even think they have made a film about it, and is planning to make a game, maybe I'll check it out some time...
