Agreed, i actually laughed quite alot in that movie, and i dont usually laugh out loud in cinemas. Theres some great dialogs and funs (mostly with the hulk). Prolly one of the best superhero movies around atm. Time flew by watching it aswell, you dont even notice it lasts alot longer than other movies.
Me too, and I usually don't laugh out loud hardly ever, including most almost every comedy I ever watched; that rag doll scene though got me.
10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! 10 more days! eh eh eh
Definitely going to be a sequel, if you were wondering who they show as the next arch villain is at the end. Here it is, I was trying to figure it out since they only showed the villain's face for a few seconds.
So you went and made the general discussion forum but all in one thread?
Well, my idea was that we need a thread that can be a concentrated venue of intelligent discussion. The General Discussion sub includes stuff like video games (inb4 "you're on a video game forum, dipshit") and almost all the misplaced threads I see get thrown in there and it dilutes the potential of that sub.
In my opinion, it's like the recycle bin of Dfans; full of little threads (some that I have started but die because of the little traffic that runs through that sub) and some gems that get resurrected every once in a while, but are slow even after that. I have tried to start some discussions that I, at least, thought were interesting.
I applaud Don_G for his effort on actually trying to talk about something; this might be the URT, but the way that intelligent discussion gets snubbed is, in my opinion, insulting (not to me, but to everyone who actually wants to chime in on a good subject without people putting up videos and pictures).
I'm not trying to be condescending to anyone; I'm being frank about my expectations for this forum. I don't expect everyone to follow single line in absolute maturity and I expect people to have fun on this forum, but some people find a good discussion on psychology or world events far more interesting than comics and Youtube videos. That's the point I was trying to make.

I hate the way you cling to ignorance and pass it off as innocence
There are people who can be mature on the internet and accept ideas presented through them. Shitstorms are not the fault of the discussions; they're the fault of the people participating in those discussions. If people are going to bicker, then that's their prerogative; bad apples spoil the bunch.
I've never tried to force an idea. I've always tried to present one. There's an difference between giving the option to have spinach and commanding people to have spinach.
My desire to start another thread isn't because I think good discussions can't happen in the URT; they have in the past. A while ago, people were more engaging and more open to actually talking about stuff because, at the end of the day, exchanging ideas and having conversations about our passions was a good experience as opposed to a chore. We were able to grow stronger as a community because of the knowledge we shared. I can recall times when conversations on the same topic spanned, maybe, five pages or so.
I guess I just want that back. I want a lot of things back; some of the members I used to talk to on here had some brilliant ideas and had interesting things to say. Not to say that there isn't any of that now, but I feel that it's more of a rarity now.
There's simply not enough people who actively participate in this thread to balance the amount of "random" and the amount of discussion. That's a conclusion I've come to simply from looking at pages and the things that are talked about: a lot of stuff and a lot of media. This has led me to believe that it is foolish to go to the URT in search of a good discussion.
Edit: People who feel the need to project the measure of their intellect over the internet are incredibly vain. Again, bad apples spoil the bunch. At least I try to project an earnest demeanor when I want to talk about something that's touchy like abortion or religion. I used to be that way, but then I grew up and stopped being so protective of my ideals. If I'm in public, I don't throw a fit when someone disagrees with me; in fact, most discussions I have in public about politics and the such, depending on the person, are completely cordial and pleasant and, more than anything, I want to project that into things I say on the internet.
People who see the internet as a forum for their vanity probably don't speak that well in public. Being humble in a discussion, more than often, will result in something worth remembering and will probably lead to a higher sense of respect for the people you talk to.
That's what a discussion is to me.

Omf Battlefield 3 is busy biting me in the ass...I can't stop playing it and I need to study and prepare for my exams which is starting on the 24th of May...AND the fact that D3 is releasing a week before then, make it so much harder (that what she said <_< ). Fucking fuck fuck, why did I have to be such a gaming nerd?! YOLO I guess
Actually the forum that catches all the random threads is Off-Topic.
I did read all of your posts though, just don't know what to say except I hope you find some people willing to have calm discussions. I try to stay away from them because as you said it usually ends up with someone trying to project their intelligence and that's incredibly annoying. If (when) that ends up happening I'd rather not be a part of the discussion because I have to try to come in and see where it went wrong.
Like Succubus said a while back. That's just the randomness of a thread named "Ultimate Random Chat" sometimes the randomness might be interesting and sometimes it might not be interesting. I enjoy reading discussions from time to time but I also enjoy just sharing things that make me laugh or that I enjoy with people that have a common interest with me (Diablo 3 silly).
It's pretty easy to skip over posts and just reply to what you want. If someone replies to my post and then 3 pages go by, I'll still quote them and reply back despite the amount of discussion that has lapsed.
Edit--
Going to see the Avengers movie Monday. Looking forward to it since everyone seems to have enjoyed it here.

I think the reason why I don't necessarily like doing that is because I feel that, if they don't want to return to the discussion (because five pages have flown by), then replying is kind of pointless because they've probably already forgotten about it / don't care anymore. After enough time has elapsed, continuing the discussion is really arbitrary.
And there's certainly nothing wrong with wanting to have a laugh in the most popular thread on the forums. That's the reason why the URT was made, as Succubus said.
I have like 0 access to free poon.
Marriage is stupid, oneitis is dumb, love is fake and sex is expensive.
Excluding savings, I have a grand total of like... $50nzd to my name. The only kind of sex you can buy with 50 bucks is the kind not worth buying.
i had my telescope out, it was so bright it was brilliant, the sea of tranquility was so much clearer
it was great
Yeah it was definitely big and very bright, but what I was hoping for was the atmosphere to act like a magnifying glass making it really huge. The news indicated that was going to happen but it didn't. I've seen that happen one time before where the moon got so magnified it took up half the horizon looking absolutely monstrous. I would have loved some shots of that, oh well maybe next time.
This is how it looked with a regular shot in Vegas, I like my long exposure shot better personally
I did get a pretty cool city-scape shot though, I wasn't going to let the effort go to waste

Having more money won't help much either, the wife will usually have a big purpose for her own happiness to crush all your thoughts of great pleasures.

Heh, I'm from Africa. However, I didn't build my own pool table. :/ Good idea though.
I hope the people who built the table had a better eye for leveling stuff than the photographer.
