My summonmancer's army of undead is getting pretty large thanks to stacking +skill gear, and it's become problematic. My revived monsters tend to lag behind & disappear even in open areas, and in the smaller indoor areas, everything tends to get stuck in a traffic jam. Is there a way to manage this without teleport? If not, are there any options that will allow a necromancer to teleport besides Enigma, Naj's Puzzler, or an amulet? I'm a terrible cheapskate so I don't fancy the idea of paying to recharge an item constantly (rules out the Puzzler & amulet), and I was hoping to use the full Trang-Oul's set (which rules out Enigma).
I've tried running back to my monsters lingering in the back of the army to keep them from disappearing, but it's a bit of a waste of time, and impractical in a lot of situations. I've also tried zig zagging as I run forward to help them keep up, but without much success. As for the cluster**cks that happen indoors, I don't even know how to solve those without teleport.
Yeah, I was afraid of that. Makes me kinda sad though. I just got another piece of Trang-Oul's to drop. It just seemed like a fun set from when I played years ago, and I was looking forward to using it. But since I can't control my zoo without teleporting, and Trang-Oul's slows casting anyway, it may not be worth it.
Oh well, at least I'll get use out of the Homunculous that recently dropped.
its not all over, the main weapon of a summoner or "fishymancer" is not really just the summons, but corpse explosion. but there a plenty of hybrid builds for when you dont want a cookie cutter summoner. psn nova summoner is always viable. and re-summoning as you go isnt especially time consuming. if all else fails, you can make a frw psn nova necro for pvp.

If I try anything else, it'll probably be a bonemancer of some sort for PvP.
While I'm at it, a stat question about my summonmancer: do I want to spend any points in dex to get my block to 75% since Homunculous has a high block chance, or should I just keep sinking all my points into vitality?

psn necros are more fun, i have both and i love hyaluronidase so much more (plus, trangs frw sync necros are way fun ;))
umm...it really depends on you, but to tell you the truth, your minions should provide ample stack to avoid being hit most runs. and with bone armour absorbing phys damage there really isnt a need unless you find yourself getting hit too much and wanting to take extra precaution.

and desynch is a glitch in which the server cant keep up with the speed of your character, thanks to charms and inventory items that grant +str (anni, torch), that in conjunction with the already fast trangs set = a nearly invisible necro casting psn novas and seemingly teleporting away. they arnt invincible, but they are loads of fun.

If you walk you are likely be able to have more summons stay with you. Mages are likely to be left behind if you rush an area with enemies still around since their AI will still focus on targets in their range. Revives will depend on the monster revived. I loved playing the LoM build before 1.10 when I could get an army over 100. With some mods I played I had well over 300 before the lag would hurt.
Another method to keep straggling summons is using Teleport to town Scroll. It is cheap but it does slow you down a bit. If you just want to Teloport once in a while then getting an item with tp charges can work nicely. Place that in a slot only when you want to use it and then recharge the item right away and not wait for the charges to get low. The cost should not be too bad.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
Definitely some good advice Hans & I've been using town portal scrolls as a makeshift teleport, but the more I think about it, the more I probably need to bite the bullet & get Enigma for my necro, though that means he'll likely wind up with the exact same gear as my other two casters (boo on best in slots!). Even aside from losing summons who lag behind, there are other problems it would solve too. For example, getting them to attack the target I want is difficult currently & Attract isn't always an effective option, but I could tele on top of the target & a lot of them would naturally start attacking it, which is a much better alternative than having to run way past the target just to drag everybody to where I want them standing. Another problem is that I'm using the Arm of King Leoric, which has the unfortunate habit of trapping me & whatever hit me behind the same bone prison.

I'll skip putting points into dex though. My necro doesn't usually take damage except from spells, which blocking won't do much against.
