I was in a pretty serious guild in WoW and while it's nice to have someone to play with, there are downsides.
It'll be nice to just log on and have someone to play with. SC2 is a ghost town, but in WoW if you're guilded you get on and you're instantly greeted by a MotD and guild chat. The game is alive and social. I look forward to logging in and seeing RedPandaGroup chat going while I jump in game.
Obviously this is going to be a pretty low key/chill group. No "YOU MUST HAVE HELL DONE BY THIS DAY OR YOU'RE KICKED OUT." I'm not worried about progressing slowly, but I don't need someone trying to tell me what to do. I get stressed by my wife and my job and eventually I will be stressed by my kids (when I have a couple). I don't need my gaming to do that, too.
Sounds like this will be a smaller, self-regulating group. If someone causes trouble and trolls other players, they will be shunned and removed from everyone's lists, then we don't have to deal with it.

I would never make it mandatory for a member to be so far in the game or meet a dead-line. All that does is ruin the game for them.
Thank you all for applying and showing your interest. I am going to see if I can get this topic locked so that I may open an EU only version. Thank you.
All of the players who have shown interest/applied thus far are indeed going to be part of the group.

When I close the topic down. As I said in a previous post - at this rate you'll all probably be in.
