This might be brought on because I am up late or because of this herb...but I had a weird idea. Well, to go along with customization, what if some of the spell animation was directly connected to the weapon effect animation as if they are directly connected and also actually have a weapon add a +poison affix to the spell itself so it's accurate. It could differ on every spell the exact amount of effect visual speaking or not be there at all I guess for the more complicated ones...Idk I'm literally typing this seconds after the thought entered my mind so I'm just kinda making stuff up as I go.
He is throwing an axe, but clearly has a 'samurai' type sword equipped. So the same could be said for the monk. I mean its not like "wave of light" means that he/she has an actual bell equipped right?
Yea I knew about the weapon throw conundrum but normally atleast in cleave or a skill like that he uses his weapon...monk doesnt use his fist weapons when hes punching....but this topic was really supposed to be about weapon affects when it comes to altering a spell :-P

He uses weapons, not necessarily 'his' weapons. If you check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ixH_lC170k, you will see what I mean.
