Hey Spock I think you might have a little spot of brown right on the tip of your vulcan nose. Might want to fullscreen your avatar and have a peek. ;)

I won a key today from diablofans twitter question, i was following around 8 sites and several more otions of getting a beta key...in the end you could get a key just by random luck of either posting something or being registrated (before contest even) on a site that has beta giveaways..

keep trying though, it's worth it!

Yeah it certainly is a lot of luck. I was hoping that they were going to ask about groups of people that play like guilds and such. If I get a key and I get to talk about it to the other 50 people I play in guilds between wow and starwars its a good way to get other people excited about it coming. Regardless I am excited! Crossing fingers I get a key! Good Luck to all those waiting as well!!!

Most of the time it is luck based. And then there are some contests that require you to be really fast but they are near impossible. All in all I think luck is the most important factor.

It is very much luck, my friend. But don't worry, if we get one, be happy! If not, don't fret. The game is coming to us all soon enough!

The lack of immaturity on this site is what finally brought me from the shadows to actually posting here.

Just contribute to that, and it'l work out.

    Well said my good man!

But yes, I was in the same boat. Been reading this sight for agesssssss. Then the contest came up, and I was all "sweet betaahhhhhzzz". So I stopped being lazy and started posting for my own selfish selfish reasons. However, once you start to get into it, you realize (mostly) everyone on this site is a Diablo fan through and through. They get it. And that is good.

And you are most certainly right! I hope there is at least an open beta before release though to "release" some of the anxiety of waiting. Holy buckets.

It is sheer luck. I never posted on any sites, just casually visited the forums a bit to keep up with the development of the game. Then decided one day i was going to try and get a key when i saw a lot of contests happening. Well, i ended up winning 36th out of 400 people chosen for a beta key just by luck and that was the first one I signed up for.
