I am looking forward to making my witch doctor and watch him destroy everything that is in his path. I cant wait till hes maxed and i can gear him out. Also doing some PvP on him as well. The entire game is pretty much what i'm looking forward to lol.
I can't wait to level up with my friends and watch the game unfold. Although I have been following the development of the D3, I haven't seen many of the plot spoilers and certainly don't know what every skill does (let alone what they look like). I'm hoping to play a lot of my first run through with a couple of friends and get that sweet, sweet old-school RPG feeling-of-awesomeness as new gear makes us look cooler, and we get to tinker with some team synergy to blow up demons.
Nothing beats rumbling through a game like D3 where characters have so much customization and your item/skill choices are so instantly rewarding IMO.
For me, a lot of the excitement I experience in games is trying out all of the various skills and abilities that my characters can have. So one thing I'm definitely looking forward to is creating 1 character of each class so I can test out what each has to offer. I'll most likely enjoy all of them but expect to have 1 or 2 that I prefer to play for slaughtering the masses. Currently, I plan on creating a wizard first and to see where that takes me, since I generally enjoy caster-style classes the most in these kinds of games.
Paired with that, I also look forward to all of the runes and alterations they cause to the existing skills. Not only will I be able to choose the skills I want to use but I can select runes to alter them and make them even cooler? Heck yeah! When I played WoW I was definitely an 'altoholic', having 1 of each class at max level... I expect to have one of each class at max level in Diablo 3 and to enjoy the adventures and looting along the way.
I'm looking forward to that imersement I felt when playing D2. I remember sitting in my Chemistry class excited about getting home so I could start a new Palidin. I yearn for that engrossment again of getting sucked into the artificial world.
Co-op with friends from WoW who've long since stopped playing. And random loot. I love random loot, enough of this predetermined purple ilvl dependent GARBAGE, give me the luck of the draw!
i look forward to items that make characters unique like a sword for instance, in d2 if you socket a sword with a sapphire all it does besides the bonus is make the sword blue, in d3 im looking forward to an ice fog around/in the sword , like lightning sparks coming from
a topazed weapon. and body armor looking 3d'ish on the character giving it more "umpf" if you will. plus the amazing animations for the
skills/added runes. along with my monks fist to diablos scaly face. cheers to you all!!!!!
Having never played the game before I'm not sure if I'll like it.
That said, the rune system sounds exceptionally compelling and exactly what I was hoping the WoW glyph system would be like. I fear certain ideas that become further refined make it to newer Blizzard title and forgotten in the older ones.
Hard to really say. I'm excited about all of the characters. I love the skill system. Crafting sounds neat. I think the skill system more than anything. It's just so refreshing and has so much possibility. If I had to be absurdly specific, it would be the Wizards Archon ability. So sweet!
Honestly? I look forward to making my Wich Doctor. I will be summoning a horde of zombies and utilizing the zome skills and runes while singing to myslelf, "Back to back, ghoul, belly to belly, well I don't give a damn 'cause I'm stone dead already, back to back, oh oh oh, belly to belly, it's a zombie jamboree!"
