Since I, and probably you, can't read it, here is what it says:

Your chances improve from 1% to 2% with 100% MF, so MF doesn't make any sense until Inferno. You should kill twice as fast with better gear to get that 2%.
However, since so far the beta hasn't challenged killing power yet, MF makes sense.
Apparently this change went in during patch 8... so everyone pursuing Magic Find is pretty much wasting their time in the beta (and soon in release during the early levels). It's good that I pursued gold find, because I honestly think that's a much better way to go during early levels; this is especially true now.
Edit: Okay after the first few posts, it's clear I had my understanding wrong through the translation. BUT it still is noteworthy that they lowered blues overall. Read replies 2 and 3 for more info.
"Before patch 8 magical item drop chance was say 5%. So if you had 122% MF you would get a 11.1% chance to find a magical item.
After patch 8 we lowered the base chance to find magical items to say 1%. This results in a 2.22% chance to find a magical item."
So this change did not devalue MF, it simply lowered the base magic drop rate. So do not fear, MF is working as it was before =)
Ah okay sorry I guess it was lost in translation lol. So he was just saying an arbitrary value of 5% as an example? And that after patch 8 they lowered it by about 5x less amount of magic items (for low level drops)?
Yeah I wouldn't be concerned to much about MF in the early stages. If Diablo III is anything like the last game, being able to push through content should be your main objective. MF will naturually come as you progress through the game; and once you break through that wall, you can pursue getting that 100%
I've asked this question in another topic but didn't get a response, so I thought I'd try it here.
Blizzard said that Bosses won't drop significant better items than other foes (correct me if i'm wrong). But, have you got a better chance of finding the best items in the last act on Inferno? Or have you got the same chance of finding the best items though all acts on inferno?
I believe you have the same chance of finding the best items through ALL acts of Inferno. But the premise that minibosses/random-bosses have the best chance still holds true.
I've always been wondering why people in beta tries to get a high MF. You are going to get better items from AH with the gold you are going to pick up.
Well, in D2 I had the most fun searching for better items by doing boss runs. So that's what I'm going to do in D3. I'm not just going to "buy" the items that I need, where's the fun in that? And there's also a chance that people will put the best items only on the RMAH.
I agree.
Moreover, I also find it weird people underestimate the value of low level MF. I think this is an understandable result of the situation in D2: we had been playing for so long that we already had enough items to equip or lower lvl characters. There was no need to equip them with MF. However, if you start from scratch, I think every bit of MF you can integrate in your equipment without losing too much efficiency, will help significantly.
An example: I'm a sturdy barbarian, so in my run through normal I opt for MF instead of resist/defense. I kill just as fast and I won't die anyways. Say I accumulate up to 50% MF. Then, statistically, I will start nightmare with 50% more awesome items. Three uniques instead of two. Six rares instead of 4. I'll have seen 50% more potentially useful rings to chose from. Just to say... I've always appreciated some early MF

Thanks for clearing this up.
