I've just come back to D3 after a long time away. Just as the new season starts. So I've leveled up a Barbarian and got to chapter 3 in the Season's Journey. However, I did not yet open the bonus set. Instead, I've started to play with a DH and liked it too so far.
Now the big question is if I should split the season's set into two or if I should focus on one class first and get things going?
I'll be playing 100% solo and intend to do the basic stuff. I've never gone past 100 paragon yet as I've been too busy with other stuff.
I like the looks of Raekors/IK Charge Barb, looks intersting. But looking at some DH videos on YT it looks like even more fun, I really like the UE set, too bad I'm one season too late for that.
At the end of the day I'm looking for a easy and chill build while trying to get conqueror or maybe even guardian, who knows...
So what's your adivce here guys? Should I get one full set and if yes DH or barb? Or should I split it between the two chars and if so in what order?
Absolutely 100% for sure get them all on one class. The point of Haedrig's Gift is getting the 6 pieces for the 6 piece set bonus, which gives every class/spec approximately a 2000% damage bonus. That's 20x more damage and enables you to immediately farm T6.
Then you can farm items and bloodshards and Death's Breath and gamble/cube on the other class to complete that set. Whether DH or barb is just preference. But don't split. You'll regret it.
By the time you have 4 set pieces equipped, you'll be running at least T3-T4, with any luck you'll pick up another piece of your set before you finish Chapter IV. With a cubed RoRG, you'll have the six piece bonus (so at least T4-T6), so I'd save the last part of Haedrig's Gift for an alt.
