I don't think there going to send an angel to sanctuary. Even stripped of there powers we could have another Lilith scenario where he rallies an army of followers and starts destroying the balance. Fallen angels not a good idea really. We'd have to end up kiling him anyway.

I really want a "knight" class, but it saddens me that there is really nothing more that we can add to one. We can't have a dark knight because we already have a dark Acrobatic type class.

I hate the way you cling to ignorance and pass it off as innocence
I want either the heretic idea or another druid both sound good....... maybe a different *tank* class other than the barbarian, not a pally( templar follower) maybe a knight any ideas?
i always wonder about people who post stuff like lets not talk expansion when the game is not out yet. if you don't wanna talk expansion, why are you in this post?
ooh, i see a heretic fan. i think a heretic type class is very possible because it covers both the look and feel of a paladin with the skills (kinda) of the necromancer and some shapeshifting of the druid.
Hi I'm new to this forum but I've played Diablo 1 and 2. I played two first and loved it and one was also awesome. I believe that we need to steer away from classes that previously existed or at least reinvent the with similar ideas but they also have to follow the lore or
Fit into the story after we finish the game. I think that once
Every one has finished the story they will have a pretty good idea of what classes might be implemented as I'm sure many new races/class ideas will be Discovered during the story itself. With the current classes available I would think it's safe to say the next class should be a shield based class. The barbarian has the option to be but think you guys are on the right track with the one handed or
2handed spear wielding class.
I was thinking along the lines of a more in depth version of the mercenary from act II in DII. Kinda of like a gladiator if you will. His resource could be something like heroism, brutality, even pain. I'm not sure how in depth to this I can go right now but he would fit in for the paladin without having to have holy based abilities and have roman style shield tactics as well as being able to use pole arms and so forth if he want to deal great damage other than play only passive aggressively.
I think there has been some awesome ideas shared but I'll stick to
What I originally said, I think we will all have I better idea of what classes are possible after completing the story.
Ps. Sorry for any mistakes I typed it on my iPhone.

It is simply to pass the time.
One thing we can bet on that is going to have a primary stat of Strength
With the addition of "old style attributes," Barbarian is the only class that uses Strength as a primary attribute. I too, would love a heavy shield-using class.
