I understand and agree with abilities scaling as you get stronger to keep all skills viable.. my question is- are the skills going to evolve visually as you level? if not im sure that, besides the few people that making builds outta early less visual skills for giggles, most people with go with skills that look the coolest aka higher level skills. i dont know maybe they made em all look fappin awesome but its hard to get away from the mindset that the later skills look more powerful... and also if they dont visually evolve with levels or runes or whatever, the removal of skills points might take the sense of progression away a bit. sorry if my post was just me thinking out loud but if anyone shares this concern or knows info on my worries let me know.
I remember reading something about this happening. One of the early witch doctor spells is to summon a horde of exploding frogs, and the higher your level, the more frogs that are summoned. So yeah, it does sound like spell effects do get more powerful. Both visually and in the damage they do. I think the idea is that you are able to use any of the 24 skills, even when you get to inferno. They all increase in power as you level up.

I think i would be grand if they change as the level, and I think to a degree they will. For example a Level one spell will only have X things shoot out, while a level 5 of that spell might have X+4 things shoot out.
Im still all for the skill removal. I love knowing that all my spells will now be good. To me, thats a lot more customization than just filling up 2 skills.

Completely agree. When I heard they were taking away skill points at first it sounded like complete blasphemy, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea, since it will let me switch my entire build so easily that ill be prepared for any situation :-)
yes it will...i dont have the link but i think jay even uses the barbs ww as an example where he shows low lvl ww compared to high lvl ww its alot more wider alot more dust is kicking up and he swirls faster(not runed on both btw) they said that progression(rather skills/items)they want you to visably see you char get stronger and stronger with skills and items
