why not have the townspeople rebuild tristram in the 3rd, and have it starting to reprosper. remember where wert was, on that island like area. like tristram could be a pitstop on your journey through the game, and then u could go explore the area. diablo 1 and 2 have different feels to them. i would want the game to play more like diablo 1, or at least the villages (some). the beginning of d2 has that war or battlefield type field. ill explain
you start off in a camp where people are constantly defending off demons. well since you killed alot of the demons in d2, why not have bigger towns, and have places revisited. i think ill write some small storylines to go with some of my ideas.
Good idea. I would atleast like to be able to travel back to tristram (even if its in ruins) and go below the city and fight in all the levels that were in diablo 1.
But remember they might make diablos 3 story happen before diablo 1. We'll just have to wait and see .
that would be interesting, i believe once the warrior took the stone from diablos head in 1, diablo turned into that scrauny looking guy. you could be a hero trying to stop that guy from getting it. he could be diablos version of the little 'my precious' guy from lotr.
If my memory serves, whe n the stone came out of the head in diablo 1, that was King Leorics son.
And about the bigger cities and stuff, I dont think that will happen. You remeber when you kill baal and tyrael talks to you? He says that when the worldstone is destroyed it broke the barrier between Good and Evil, and hell will probably storm in through the worldstone chamber.
And just to ask, whatever happened to the Crack in tristram that led to Hell from the first one when you go in in on D2.
And btw im not trying to say anything isnt possible.

Tristram in diablo 2 is not accurate at all. The whole town looks so fake compared to the original.
The warrior defeated Diablo (Who took the body of King Leorics son) and when he defeated Diablo the soulstone dropped to the ground. Instantly the warrior knew the only way to trap Diablos soul is to use his own. That is why he thrust the Soulstone into his own head. From there is why he grew corrupt, he had a prime evil inside him. The warrior from Diablo 1 is the wanderer in Diablo 2.
The crack in Tristram was only there because Diablo was (If I'm not mistaken), as soon as he left, the gap closed.
I'm pretty sure the idea was, the world stone was protecting the mortal realm from hell (Some job it did). By corrupting it, he wouldn't only allow hell access, but actually merge the two. By destroying it he had no idea what would happen. Nobody did.
Depending on where and when Diablo 3 is set, I'd love to see Tristram. To keep something sacred. I'd also love to see old man Cain, but I think he has over used his welcome.

Lets not get carried away now... this aint halo lol. There is no gun powder in the diablo universe... lol.
