Currently playing a hammerdin and I'm looking to make an alt that is a little less intense. I need a break from the stutter stepping and button mashing that comes with the hammerdin. Last season I played ww barb mostly and I doubt anything is easier than that, but I want to try something new. Doesn't have to be the best Grift build out there, just something that can clear T8-10 quickly and easily. What are yalls thoughts on the "laziest" build out there?
My reading comprehension is clearly not all there today. Sorry about that.
Other than WW barb, I think Uliana monk might be the next best thing as far as ability to be lazy and clear T8-10 reasonably. Nats DH can also play a bit lazy, but it's also very similar to WW barb.
I'm curious about this too, though I'm playing a SSS monk. I have to watching my buffs from focus and restraint, keep my dodge mantra up, track of the charges on my dash, make sure my EP is spread first while trying to also balance using SSS as a way to "dodge" mechanics. As well as watching for the third strike of my generator for the buff to my SSS (I recently switched to a less effective generator because it's 3rd strike is larger and more visible...)
I remember playing wizard way back and three of my six spells were automatic buffs that didn't even have actives. I also liked the old DH sentry build where you could pretty much place them and walk away.
I don't always want to push higher GR, sometimes I want to relax and watch the loot drop.
Once your toughness is high enough you don't *have* to keep up Mantra all the time, so there's that (you might even switch to Annihilation on lower Torment difficulties). And he's talking about a lazy Torment build, you don't apply EPs by 3x generator there; you just use Madstone in Cube. Uliana's+Madstone is ridiculously easy.
I'm currently playing a UE Multi-shot DH build and it's fairly lazy. You won't have the toughness that a WW barb or any monk has, but most things die in 2-3 multi-shot hits on T-10, minus elites/champs. Technically, the only buttons you have to hit are your left and right click. Using your vault to get around faster, prep to get disc back (which takes quite a bit to deplete) and you got some buffs if you choose to use them.
I prefer the lax play in D3, so I, too, was searching for another fun and lazy build. Outside of that though, Barbs and Monks are probably your only other options.
I agree with both Kengo and Shina1989. When I'm tired of high GR farming on my Helltooth WD, and the lag, I'll switch to my DH like Kengo suggests and sit back and left and right click. Very lax. For super fast T10 rifts or bounty farming, the Manajums's build is super easy and fast. I can do all 5 bounties in maybe 20 minutes or less solo with my WD.
So I did the Uliana's + madstone monk. It took what felt like forever to get the madstone but it is ridiculously easy. Just what I asked for. Thanks Bagstone.
