i know many of us cant even get a single ROS key and wont know much about whats inside, but what i realized is that the items we are farming in this loot2.0 are useless when the expac release later. Can the beta players share with us what are the things we are doing now are useless at the moment?
So far I know these items are useless
common debris >>>> reusable parts (lv61+ crafting materials)
The only thing of relevance that carries over is gold.
And paragon experience. Yeah, only gold+XP "carry over" without being replaced with something else.
But there's one thing people should keep in mind: for the most part in beta, we were able to enchant legacy items, so for example almost every wizard was wearing an enchanted Chantodo's (because of the APoC). We jumped directly from D3V gear into level 70 (leveling to 70 didn't take long), so there was no 4 weeks of insane level 60 loot 2.0 grinding. I've been wondering if current items carry over to some extent; for example, a super nice item with stats that don't change on 70 except for one: a helmet with a unique legendary effect, a socket, +15% to your favorite skill, 6% crit, and a measly int roll can be easily enchanted to become on par with level 70(and a pretty good int roll which is only 100 or so below level 70 quality).
Edit: Guess I was horribly wrong on that one, obviously the reason why for example a Chantodo's rolled to 2500 DPS was because of the +50% enhanced damage.

radiant star >>>> Marquise gem ( drops at 70)
what else?
