I do the daily routine of checking my battle.net account instead, it saves me from scanning any spam emails.
You should not discard emails - sometimes Blizzard just sends out the keys which you have to manually enter on your B.Net account. If you wanna be sure, just never click on links in any such email and go to Battle.Net by entering the URL manually in your browser.
