Hey guys, I want to draw your attention to an issue with the new RMAH.
It's not the posting limit that has me concerned, but the $1.50 minimum.
I think that Blizzard needs to have two different minimums for stacking and non-stacking items.
Look at it this way, $1.50 for gear is great. It makes it so people will sell lesser gear on the gold AH and more expensive stuff on the RMAH. Working as intended.
But what about gold? You can't sell it on the gold AH, and now it has a minimum price of $1.50 per 1,000! People are not going to pay that much for it!
If gold doesn't sell, then a huge market for D3 goes out the window. It is in Blizzard's best interest to just have a 15% sellers fee for stackable items, instead of $1.50 per 1,000.
Some amount of gold will be equall to $1.25 blizzard bucks. It just will. Becuase you can trade one for the other.
So what ever that amount is will be the minimum gold auction. it takes about 15 min to get 1000 gold in act 1 of normal in the beta. So, later in the game.. 1000 gold will be like nothing. My guess is 1.25 beta dollars will be more like 20-30k gold. Just a guess though
Main thing that is win about this change is that you can no longer loose money on the RMAH if you sell somthing. You either make at least .25 or loose nothing.
This isn't a problem. It is already easy to get 1k gold in the beta. By the time we get to Hell and Inferno, we'll be making like twice that amount if not more just from normal mobs. My guess is that it will be about, as stated, 20k-30k gold for $1.50 BB.

I don't always burn. But when I do, I use hellfire.
