Chat sound, Please bring back D2 Chat sound, That "DING!" is rather annoying and out of place.
I'd like to see Collector Edtion wings dyeable. I know its an inventory item, but Dying it would be the coolest thing ever, and make them more "fun and unique" with little effort to inplament.
Please remove that horrible permanate overused gaussian blur that the game is in. I know a lot of people have used the filter, including me, and DAMN does the game look so much better. It's like I found my glasses and can actually see. The only downfall of the filter is it turns the text and UI into an eyesore.
I'm not too sure about this one, but If each tier of armor is specified for a level range i think it will be rather boring. For example, All barbs within the level 20-30 range will have the same looking gear. Little to no differentiation. I'm hoping that pieces of gear will drop from lower tiers of armor with higher level stats simply to illiminate that, and add customization. Idk too much about this one though.. I mean.. having a legendary barb tattoo does look pretty lame, and someone might get it only because the stats.. MEH, Your thoughts?
Hitbox. We all know about this one. RG even has two of his HD videos explaining how annoying this is. Let's all hope it's a bug.
Please display a "Vote" system for skipping cutscenes and chat. I GUESS the arguement here is that if you really wanted to see the story elements just play solo, or with friends, but many times I played multiplayer ive seen a guy rage about us either going ahead or skipping scenes through his first runthrough. Perhaps it's an error on his part. But it'd be rather nice just to have this feature. Maybe after launch to not hold up the game even more
Battletags. Most annoying thing in the world. Trying to figure out which demon hunter wants this sweet bow i just got is both time wasting and infuriating.
I'd like to see a feature that you can toggle on/off for distance spells. Like a grenade throw in an FPS that will display an arch showing where you'll go. Many times have I leaped on my barb only to leap in place and end up wasting time/cooldown. The function would work like, Leap is keybound to "2". You hit 2 and an arch appears leading to your cursor to the maximum range availibe to jump, and then you click again to use the skill. I think I saw some kinda targetting system in one of the beta videos, I have yet ot see this ingame tho. This could also be toggled on and off for those that dont want to use the feature. Thoughts?

Are they not supposed to be tyreals wings? i agree being able to dye them would be cool but would kind of defeat the point if they are supposed to be tyreals wings
well they're just a fun item, I don't think they're supposed to be anything other then that. They look like tyreals wings sure, But lorewise, gamewise, they don't "exist" other then aesthetics.
I haven't played the beta yet so I can't give much opinion on some. But I have never seen this blur that you speak of in any game play video that I have seen.
Dyeable collector wings I shall pass on. They are Angel Wings. Not bird wings. So the ability to dye them is just stupid because they are already awesome as is. If you don't know what it looks likes, google a picture of Tyreal and you'll see the blue tendrils that are his wings.
The thing about the teirs of armor looking the same I shall disagree with again. While at the beginning, we will pretty much look the same. But later on, and with a lot of gold, we will see people sporting all sorts of colors. Like a Barbarian running around in pink plate. Plus the legendaries will look different from the normal items and that will change up looks a lot.
The hitbox could have easily been changed already but just not implemented in beta. And I for one like it the way it is. I don't want it too small to where I miss my attacks because I barely missed the monster. And it helps the game go faster by allowing more mistakes to happen with less consequences. It could also scale with difficulty and in Inferno, you might have to actually target the monster to hit it.
The vote system is another thing I disagree with but mostly because I want the game released sooner rather then later. And that is the problem you choose to accept when making/joining a public game.
I can't give an opinion on the battle tags because I have not played the beta yet. But it just sounds like you should know the DHs a bit more in game to figure out who said what.
One of the great features for the distance spells is the fact that you choose where it goes with your mouse. If you just jump in place on your Barb with the leap attack, it is probably user error above anything else.

I don't always burn. But when I do, I use hellfire.
-chat to reflect the color of the class that typed it. example: barb = brown DH = red monk = orange wizz = purple WD = green

CE wings are yes, based off tyreal wings, But as you progress throughout the game and get different gear it will look kinda odd for let's say a WD with green armor and tyreal wings, wheras if he could dye the wings greenish as well, that would look pretty good!
Hitboxes are annoyingly too big. Many times I try to kill a unique, a skeleton summoner, or a specific target only for another enemy to get attacked instead simply because his hitbox clips my target.
battletags make the game unnecesarily confusing. It displays the battletag on the character portraits, but then chat and names above character are the name of the character. So its easy to mistake or confuse two people if they're the same class.
The distance spells often bug, Leap for example, I've lept to a place that's clear, easy to see, my mouse is at the place of arrival, and then my barb just jumps in place. I've even tested it by just waiting for the cd to come up and move the cursor a little bit different and the character actually jumps. It's just a neussance sometimes.
There's no reason to not have a vote for atleast cutscenes. It would be a majority vote, just as any other respectable multiplayer RPG has.

1. It's there. The whole game is blurry. It's kinda annoying at first but you sorta get used to it. I'm not sure why Blizzard decided the "lets make this all look slightly out of focus" effect was a good choice.
2. No it's not user error. This happens with all movement skills, the DH one, the Barb leap, Monk Dash etc... the player model seems to often get snagged on the environment and you just move in place (even if your mouse is far away in open space). This happens near doors, objects in the room, staircases are notorious for this etc. It's actually pretty annoying.
Also, just to add to what was said above; the hitboxes need tweaking. I can't tell you how often i've clicked on a barrel and see it highlighted in red but my character runs around it a while before finally deciding to attack it. It's frustrating and makes the controls feel sloppy. It happens way too often too.
-gold picker upper companions again, I MISS THEM!!
Give us something... While it might be considered "challenging" by some, the challenge is easily outweighed by the "annoyance". There is nothing fun about all the clicking and re-clicking required to pick up gold much of the time (I hope this is just a bug that gets fixed or an adjustment that still needs to be made). The +loot radius bonus on gear helps, but I'd rather choose gear based on it making my character more powerful or unique, NOT less annoying to play. Loot doesn't bother me as much because so much of it is worthless trash now anyway.

You're just not looking or have gotten used to it. All of the textures are blurry and have a "watered painted" look to them. Blizzard even went to so far as to say this was a style they chose.
We aren't smoking anything. Go look at the Sharpen filter thats floating around. Try it out. Turn it on and off and you will clearly see how blurry and undefined everything actually is.
All of the textures are pretty low rez over all. I hope they have a higher rez texture option upon release.
It's not a deal breaker but it is kinda disappointing.

Yeah, it is blurry/foggy, it's one of my few complaints , it's easier to notice when you see it without it. Then look at the game how it is now. I swore there was an article/blue post/interview where they said why they went with that horrible blurryfog look.

wtf.... ive seen the pictures of the "sharpen filter" and it does NOT look way better. in fact it doesnt look better at all, just darker and more bland IMHO. so i guess it sucks to be you guys who see the blurryness? /sadface

still dont see a big difference. i see the smoke from lanterns and fires in the game, but that just makes it more realistic. no idea where this "blurr" and "fog" is you speak of.

jesus.
Look at the TEXTURES. look at the ground textures, the tree textures, the shingles on New Tristram roofs (you can hardly see any details on them) On the stone work etc. Everything has a lower rez, blurry effect.
Just go download the Sharpen only filter install it (it's just a few dll files you can easily delete after), boot up the game and press Pause to turn it on and off. if you don't see the difference then please see an optometrist.

Well I don't want my entire topic to be based on the filter, I will provide you with evidence using the "Lesser Effect" Filter both sharpen and darken. The game looks MUCH better with it on, I will see myself using it when the game launchs, the only downfall is faulty text/UI.
