Here is some infos about d3 that i didnt know until today so i thought i should share them
1- Diablo 3 was developed by blizzard for4 years
-so the rumor about "20% of diablo 3 is done" is probably wrong (if it is right then we
should w8 16 more years for the game to b released )
-the game should get released in less than a year ( 5 years of development is just too
much, espacially that blizzard has a staff of 3000 ppl)
2-Diablo 3 will not require DirectX 10 to run. (Yey for me)
3-The length of the game Diablo 3 will b near to the length of Diablo 2 and the level cap will be 100 not 99
-i guess they will make it longer afterwards by patches and expansions
4-There will b no monthly fees
-The 1up interview with Rob Pardo don't think you're going to see a subscription model in the realm of WOW.
It's a boxed product game, it will be more similar to say, the Diablo II or the
StarCraft II model.
-There is still a chance the will have monthly fees but the "no monthly fees" chance is
definatly bigger
5-Many classes that werent shown to public r almost done
-The 1up interview with Rob Pardo -We also wanted to show something new, and we argued quite a bit about
which class to focus on and show to the public. The Witch Doctor won out. -This definatly supports the suggestion of diablo 3 will b released in less than a year
(which could b even alot more less than a year)
If u have any new info that we might not know feel free to post it here.
Plz tell me if this thread helped u.
dude.... most of that stuff was either unconfirmed or already proven false.

the reason it took so long is because they scrapped 2 previous art directions and started from scratch. And the first time they stopped working on the game was when Blizzard North was released. That makes for a total of 3 times this project was stopped and restarted.

2- There will b more than 5 classes
-this was not said by anyone from blizzard, but at the 1 hour lead designer
panel(WWI,2008) when some woman asked the lead designer a question about the
other 3 classes, he corrected her question and told her: we didnt release
anything about the number of classes being 5 but there will deffinatly b
several more than 2
-i am pretty sure i am not over reacting there werel definatly many clues in this
sentence to suggest that biggest one is that he corrected her and the other is he
used the word "several" not "few"
yes you are overreacting. there will only be 5 playable classes in the initial release. This has been said time and time again by Jay Wilson in many interviews.

as bashiok said "We haven't announced any final support for DirectX versions/system requirements. I'll say that right now we're not using any DirectX10 features, but we potentially could." source

I agree with you there

'> and the level cap will be 100 not 99
I disagree with this... its not final yet, as a matter of fact, the current level cap is still 99, but it may be changed in the future. source

they're still not shure about this actually and they wont be until the game is finished. And I could see micro transactions taking place for this game.

ok you're right Rob did mention that almost all classes are playable back at their main office, and that was back when the game was first announced, in the gamespot exclusive interview. But there's the argument that playable doesnt mean finished... I think its already been stated that they havent got all the skills for all the characters yet.

the whole "in a year" thing is wishfull thinking... I think a year and a half at its earliest.

none was proven false
djinn i am pretty sure the game is above 60% done the core of the game is obviously done since there was a gameplay video and belive me it is the hardest part to be done.
