I dont know anything about "everyone" ^^ I just tried myself and that is what was working for me. If you have good suggestions I'm openminded. Im pretty happy with that build since I can do act 3 and 4 solo and in group.
Im thinking about using a shield instead of a source, and I tried it (but I had way worse gear at that time). It didnt work out for me, but it could be an option in future.

Im testing around with the passives, I think there can be other good farmbuilds, but I concentrated on actually farming rather than testing
