So with this build you summon mirror images for 15 seconds with a 25 second CD. so 10 seconds in between, and you cast hydra's around you and you have your familiar. obviously unless your a melee wizard you will be staying back and casting, so your letting your images, familiar, and hydra's do your fighting as you can spam magic missile when you get low on arcane power. also the biggest part of this is your ability to slow all mobs down, all of your attacks are arcane damage and they reduce mob movement speed by 24% passive as well as your slow time spell. so your hydra's, familiar, magic missile (that splits into many) and even your images casting spells all slow down creeps, this will be a must as they will be doing your fighting so you can kite them. i think this build will have a ton of damage output combined and is also very viable while leveling even with low runes. and has one of the highest survivability.
There will probably be immunities, he simply stated that there won't be immunities like from Diablo 2 Hell. Some creatures who would literally resist every possible source of damage for some chars.
If there are immunities though, it might be only 1 single immunity. Diablo 3's skill system is actually structured around the possibility of immunities. So even if possible immunities are in the game, they will not be anywhere near as powerful as they were in Diablo 2.

It's actually the opposite. With the ability to freely change your build whenever you want, singular immunities are meaningless since you could simply swap a spell. In other words, a monster with 50% resistance to two elements is much stronger than an enemy with 100% resistance to a single element.
The entire point of having zero immunities is so that the player doesn't feel forced to swap spells on the fly when running into a random champion that's immune to your main damage type atm. (Especially if they make the change that requires you to go back to town to swap spells).
Now, considering that Jay stated this a long time ago and we know stuff has been changing a bunch, it's possible there will be immunities on ship. I personally feel like it would be a mistake for the reasons listed above, but regardless, obviously it will be much easier to deal with than in D2.

I believe Jay stated a few years ago that immunities are not since they did not like that mechanic.
