Im running a high LoH build to farm Act 1 because my resists are only around 500 and I like facetanking everything and not moving out of bad stuff. Currently have like 1350 LoH using a 1.3 speed axe and a 1.4 speed sword. I have 18% attack speed. 3 from Enchantress, 9 on my gloves, and 6 on my amulet. If I switch to dual 1.5 speed daggers with around the same LoH will that be noticeably better? From what I have seen daggers have very low damage compared to the other weapons. Is the 1.5 speed worth the tradeoff of having lower damage? Or for Act 1 should I just keep what I have because it doesnt matter?
Yeah, it will make a difference. You could also get more attack speed on your rings and on the weapons themselves.
The problem is that this tactic won't get you very far in A2, and won't work at all in A3. I'm not sure if it's worth investing gold into something that is limited to act 1, given that you should have no problems clearing it with 500 resis.
Exactly, farming act 2 is way better than act1, and with abit more resist (S&B crit cyclone build) i can tank any combination of elites in act2, the only thing that makes me move is 3x desc fires and i have around the same loh

I still die sometimes to bad combos. Molten, Arcane with Knockback (I'm ALWAYS launched on top of a sentry lol), Fire Chains...
I wouldn't recommend any less than 600 resists if you don't have upwards of 40k dps.
