On the Console forums of Battle.net someone asked a question regarding Death's Bargain pants, and since i haven't slept in a day i figured now would be the perfect time to think of a way to make them work, or at least less trash. For the sake of this post let's just assume that everything i'm going to mention will roll with a max affix. Let's also assume you have a level 50 Wildebeest's Gizzard. I'll also use a Monk for this example as i think it's probably the build that would best be able to utilize the pants. So anyway, here is what you're looking at:
Mantra of Healing: Sustenance - 10k LpS plus an additional 30% of your LpS
Mystic Ally: Enduring Ally - 10k LpS plus an additional 30% of your LpS
Paragon Points - 10k LpS
This gives you a total of 135k LpS excluding the two skills and 155k including them. I'm not 100% sure on exactly what is counted towards the 30% increase, but let's assume this adds at least another 25k which now puts you at 180k LpS.
Assuming your pants rolled 1000%, you should be ticking for 180m.
Here are the negatives:
You lose a lot of toughness, and as far as i know the pants do not crit and won't cause anything to proc.
With that said, there might still be a way to get around 100k - 120k LpS without sacrificing too much in terms of Toughness. The idea of this has kind of sparked my interest, so i'll do a bit of "testing" until someone is able to correct me.
The reason i thought Monk was the best. It's not just because of the two skills that increase LpS, but also because of Cyclone Strike. If you're able to somehow incorporate the Death's Bargain pants with Cyclone Strike - Eye of the Storm (for reduced Spirit Cost) with high Cooldown Reduction, you should be able to take full advantage of it. Cyclone Strike sucks them in, and the Pants start ticking.
My ideal Gear setup would look something like this:
Leoric's Crown
Sunwuko Gloves, Shoulders, Amulet
Captain Crimson's Belt and Boots
Death's Bargain pants
RoRG + Unity/SoJ
Aughild's Chest and Bracers
Not really sure on the weapon, but for now i'll just say a Furnace.
Shit this is what happens when i don't sleep for 30 hours. Really not sure what i was thinking. I think i was literally seeing it as *1000 instead of 1000%.

So basically it went from "ALMOST feasible" to "COMPLETELY useless and utter garbage"
In just over 60 minutes lol. Sigh...
