The idea is that we can make use of the standard Magefist/Cindecloth combo which is more than simply effective and it will affect every single ability since they are all fire damage. Plus the two spenders (turrets and multishot) are both fire and use missiles to they get the bonus from Ballistic. Last but not least, we use a 6 hatred generator (which is actually mandatory apart some very specific cases) and it gets the bonus fore damage.
Why turrets and not vengeance? Because in HC i find them very suited to a defensive playstyle. You place them and run avoiding the bad stuff - probably with the legendary quiver it will become even more effective.
