I can see how that sounds, but I do have the Calamity on the Live server. It was one of those things where it seemed Etrayu seemed better than Calamity at the moment, but once the PTR goes live, then with the changes to DH, Calamity might be a little better option? I know the stuff doesnt roll over, which sucks because I found a nice SMK for my WD over in PTR in the first two days of PTR being active during the drop boost.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I found a Kridershot finally. It's fun to play around with now having infinite hatred, but Etrayu is just better, currently. Excited to see Krider after the patch. I have a Calamity too. In groups it can be good, but I guess Helltrapper is still better. Seems odd having the rarest ones be fun but not quite as good as rare, but less rare other weapons.
My thinking is that Calamity will be a bit better then it is now as there is more need to fire on your own in 2.1.2. I dont want to say I just drop sentries and run off, but I dont fire quite as often as I could either. 2.1.2 will certainly change that. So going back to my original question... anyone see anything I can do to improve? I swapped some stuff around since I first posted and am trying some Magefists, but I havent noticed any real difference. Still stuck on grift 33. Should I try swapping out to Buriza? Swap my ammy out for a Hellfire with Ballistics on it to free up another skill? Its just a little frustrating knowing others are clearing much higher grifts without much trouble, so the issue isnt in the build itself, but somewhere in the gear and how it works with the build.
Enforcer gem is still a nice choice, but now sentries are only a limited part of your damage. BotP or Zei are just much more effective thus recommended.
Ballistic skill is godly with Maelstrom. Archery gives a static damage increase, but less than Ballistic - Steady Aim is nice but dependant on mob type plus with the new Mara6 Custome Engineering has become mandatory.
Only choice you have is to drop ballistic if you don't run a missile build, but passives are pretty much set in stone.
Ever since the new patch, I have found that I live longer (always a bonus) but would love more DPS.
I also have way too many crossbows (1 and 2 handed) shadow coil, and different armors that I don't know if I need, ever since I got the Marauder set, and a TNT for my gloves, I don't know what else to change. Wish there was a stash management forum/option in game to cull the crap.
Also got told at one point chakram would be needed, don't see how, finally is it possible to raise my in game hatred any more.
i was wondering what do i need to do higher crit damage on regular mobs? now i do like 7-11mil with cluster arrow maelstrom cold 39% i think thats a bit low no? and i have the passive skill rockets do 100% more damage so why so low... , i read people do from 50 and up like 150 what does it take to get that kind of numbers? im a bit lost how get that high now.
Other than getting ancient upgrades for the various slots, I'm not sure what I should be focusing on for improvements. As far as I can tell, I can only hope for small, incremental improvements.
In other words, what should I be gambling for at Kadala (other than for a Kridershot, which I do not have?)
I just had this baby drop for me, and while it's definitely one of the shittier rolls, it's an upgrade. But I'm not sure what to whether to reroll Vit to 10% Damage, or if rerolling the +1351-1656 to something higher wouldn't be just as good or better, and allowing me to keep the Vit (120k or so HP). My math seem to suggest I'm better off rerolling the low damage, but my math could be faulty. I have considered the option of rolling Vit to RCR, but I don't that's a good way to go. I have plenty of Rama's. Help would be appreciated!

Well, clearly the Arcane Barb is better... but if you only have one gift craft another Arcane Barb, to be honest. You want resource cost reduction on it.
saifyn, sentry damage is about 50% of total damage. with 5 sentry and bonus on shoulders and chest your damage 600% and 650% from sentry. but damage from sentry don't benefit from area damage bonus.
this might be a silly question, but what makes Arcane Barb so good? also for the cookie cutter CA:Maelstrom/Sentry:PS build, do i want the CA or Sentry skill bonus on quiver? last but not least, is Kridershot good for the current Maelstrom build? what did they change to render TaT useless for us? how's zei's work with our sentries?
So i've returned 3 days ago, started season 2 and now I managed to get a pretty nice season 2 DH but i've got a MAJOR problem if I can say major.
Yesterday I went from T3 to T6 since i got some more damage. The problem is now that I won't recover my Hp, i need to rely on potion or health globes, i remmeber when i was in T3 i didn't have this problem. I think I rerolled all my recovery stuff for damage stuff (e.g. Life pet hit/kill with critical damage/chance) now i tried fixing that problem but i got 293k recovery, i looked on leaderboards and top DH has 400k+ recovery.
Can you guys please help me? Like advice me what to change?
I am using the cold build with sentry and cluster arrow spam, didn't get quiver yet (damn you kadala).
Also, I found K'Mar Tenclip, and my strafe is supposed to gain the Drifting Shadow rune, but i'm not noticing a difference in movement speed. Why?

I have seen a lot of DHs using Arcane Barb but I do not understand why a good, ancient AB is better for the DH Marauder build than my Unbound Bolt.
