Finally I got 6pc Marauder outfit here are my thoughts.
4pc is godly and you need it on higher torment lvls because it gives you everything that you ever want and need it uses all companion passives and when you activate you activate all of them as well.
6pc- makes sentries shoot your hate spender every 6 sec for cluster arrow and 3 sec for elemental arrow and impale and they crit for your CHD.
All sentry dmg is physical even if they shoot your hate spender so if you have Fire ele dmg % it wont work on sentry only for spit fire homing rockets it works.
Sentries don't shoot any spell that you channel so no rapid fire or strafe and they dont put spike traps.
Overall 6pc marauder set sucks because it forces you to not use either mage fist or cindercoat. sentries still underperform compared to othe popular cooldowns like rain of vengeance or Vengeance seethe.
If you have any further questions please don't be afraid to ask.
We've known for a while that the 6 piece sucks, sentries have been awful since forever. Couple that with the CD, cap, and an actual cost on the things, they're just not worth it unless you're doing T6 Hardcore bosses with some kite build.
4 pc is nice, but of course we're aiming for 3 pieces with a Royal Grandeur.
I dropped 2 pieces (namely chest and legs) which has gone into shards because of incredibly poor roll - i spend around 3 or 4 millions to reroll each piece not counting gems, with the result of having less dps, toughness and healing.
Well, i could have kept the legs for the future, but still they were really horrible even counting the set bonus. About the chest, we have already at least 2 options (Cindercloth and Garwulf) which are infinitely superior.
This just to say that we don't only need at least 3 pieces of the set, but we need also specific ones.
Nonsense, you can absolutely do high torment efficiently (as in sub 10 min clears) as pure glass cannon (T6 is where things get dicy if you get bad affixes like Thunderstorm/Jailer unless you utilize Unity + Immortal follower). As long as you have enough mitigation and life to survive ~3 ticks of Thunderstorm, you're good to go as long as your DPS is up to par & your reflexes are good on SS.
If you want to run 4pc, I suggest using shoulders+legs+boots or (if you don't mind losing Pride's Fall) helm+boots+legs & keep Aughild's 3pc via bracers+shoulders. Another alternative is helm+legs+shoulders if you want to keep Natalya 3pc via xbow + boots. Both Cindercoat and Magefist are just too strong to drop if you're running a CA build.
The whole point revolves around the fact that Marauder 6 pieces bonus is just lackluster and not actually usable in real environment - turrets attack too slow and last a long time, both things we don't want, apart some specific cases luike uber bosses on which they can prove useful.
Since we aim at 4 pieces bonus (which means 3 pieces of gear with grandeur ring) we can go easily with helm/spaulders/legs combo to get everything, and weapon/boots from natalya to get the 2 and 3 pieces bonus. This leaves one ring slot free (SoJ for low difficulties, Unity for higher ones) and the chest/gloves free - namely Cindercloth/Magefist combo for fire builds and Garwulf/T&T for physical ones.
Since i had to drop the chest piece for a mere 500 dex bonus and the stat loss was way to high, both pieces were sharded. As i said, i could have kept the legs just in case, but still the idea is to get the maximum amount of useful bonuses without having to pass over some really good legedary affixes.
TrueCold . Thanks was looking for a bis list to accompany the 4 pieces of marauders set.. Do you think the hellrack is the best offhand for a physical build.. or a calamity?

Calamity all over the place. The special is too strong to pass over.
EDIT: hellrack looks cool, but the proc is a) random, thus not reliable and utterly bad since all three abilities are very lackluster.
Surviving unavoidable damage to a certain degree doesn't fit my definition of a glass cannon, aleast not on t6.
There are also definetly fire CA builds which don't need a cindercoat in some sort BiS situation, we have quite a good set of abilities to catch the high resource costs otherwise. Cindercoat is a thing mostly bound by smoke screen, both have strong alternatvies viable for t6.
Cindercoat is bound by smoke screen? This does not make sense.
For BiS Fire builds, this is what you're working with:
Helm - Pride's Fall is BiS for groups. Otherwise, Andariel's. The only way to drop PF is with Reaper's Wrap, which has issues below.
Gloves + Chest - Magefist + Cindercoat. It's pretty hard to top 40% fire damage and 30% resource reduction, which realistically only comes at the cost of either 1 Vit roll or 1 All Res roll. I don't think you can make a case for any other chest/glove combo in the game right now.
Shoulder + Bracer - Aughild's. This plus Ring of Royal Grandeur is pretty much impossible to top. 7% reduced damage from everything, 15% additionally reduced from elite's, and 15% increased damage to elites. Nothing else comes close. This is why I'm not using Reaper's Wraps on high torments. Though, for lower torments where you're already one shotting elites, RW can let you drop Pride's Fall and vault through T1 rifts faster.
Ammy - Pick whichever immunity necklace will drop for you with the right stats. I still haven't found one.
Boots + Pants - Captain Crimson is a good choice, or Nat's boots + ring. These slots I think have the most freedom to play around with, depending on the drops you get.
Rings - Ring of Royal Grandeur is kind of mandatory. SOJ or Nat's ring for other slot.
Weapon - Kridershot or Calamity, or Nat's (with the ring). Danetta's might also be good.
Quiver or DW - drop dependent.
Belt - Witching Hour, or the belt that drops the confuse/blind bubble (I have it, it's ridiculously strong on T5-6).
I have to say that even the 4pc bonus is kinda lackluster. Lots of DHs are going for full fire glass cannon with success. The passives and actives of all companions are cool, but far from ubber awesome. 6pts is nowhere good, since sentries sucks balls. We dont have gear likes the ones from WD that really makes our pets to shine and this would only work in a completly phisical build....the best thing would be fire sentries as support in fire builds with loads of +fire damage. The 6pt marauders bonus would be a lot more awesome if they did not had a CD in it or if we had a special piece of gear that could make sentries follow us (that would be awesome). Right now, I would be happier with my marauders if I had more physical oriented gear.

When you put sentry it shoots hate spender right away.
