How in the hell are you supposed to down champion packs with very fast mobtypes that you can't kite, mobs that teleport (Phaseshifter's in Act 3), or things like Soul Lashers?
I can't find any reliable way to down these packs and I don't see how you can. My DPS with SS is ~75k.
Skipping them is the way, that's if they aren't blocking the way your going or the door you need to get to and yes, I hate soul lashers with a passion, cant believe there's and achievement to get licked by several different types all at once.
Yeah I try to skip them. I couldn't so I relogged. Then I got Soul Lashers with Teleport and Reflect Damage. So I relogged again. And again. And again. FOUR times in a row the game gave me Soul Lashers with Teleport and Reflect Damage. I logged out and went to sleep.
For numerous packs in act 3, I had to resurrection zerg them. If my res timer got too high, I'd escape and wait 5 minutes before trying again. Don't think I skipped anything in the act. (I did swear an awful lot)
I'm like all relaxed when fighting the champ packs in act 3. After the horrors I've had when encountering those retarded idiotic serpent like assholes with built in invisibility everything else afterwards feels like a walk through the park.
When fighting Soul Lashers and Heralds of Pestilence, I've got the certain feeling when I die that I could have done something to prevent my death, but against these idiots with retarded mechanism it's plain luck and when they first appear near me you've got nothing to stop them...

Haven't been back there since.
