With a lot of people now streaming their Diablo III Beta play on-line, it makes those deprived of the privilege extremely envious.
With a lot of contest now being sponsored by Fan Sites, what does it take to win? Some of these websites do lottery draws, some does random picks... yet still even with a lot these contests going on, like me, there are still a lot of hopefuls out there.
Luckily, DiabloFans has 3 particular contest going on... but out of the three, I only joined two. One of this two contest is about random threads... which makes me wonder:
"How random does a random post need to be, to win you a Beta key?"
Well i think this thread's post would qualify. They stated the requirement and they were something like atleast three sentences, constructive, and not simply I agree/disagree. The masses don't have the beta(including me) so don't feel left it. Also if its any consolation prize most people who have beta say its not all its cracked up to be and you will get bored of it fairly quickly. Though if your like me i would rather get bored of something quickly than just wonder.
They take 10 random posts by 10 different people and give those posters each a beta key. This contest lasts 2 weeks, and there are 200 keys up for grabs
Posts must be constructive, at least 3 sentences long, and pertain to the topic on hand, add to the topic, and not a flame/troll post
As far as I can tell, posts from all sections of the board are eligible. (i.e. a post in the PvP sub-forum is just as eligible as a post in the Off-Topic sub-forum)
Obviously, the more constructive, good posts you make, the higher your chances of winning are. I believe this contest ends at the end of the month, this Wednesday, but who knows how many keys they still have left. They could even be out of the 200 by now!

Hahaha! I definitely agree with you on that note: "If you ask me too, I'ld rather get bored of something quickly than just wonder."
Amen to that. lol!
They seem to choose the posters pretty randomly. You see a lot of people who have around 10 posts winning keys so it really comes down to luck.
It doesn't matter really who you are or where you post from the looks, just that you post according to the guidelines set out by the rules. Every single one of my posts has been in an attempt to win a key and I'm going to hit 100 any day now. So just keep posting (constructive stuff) and hoping (maybe praying if you're that way inclined).
Good luck.
