Today I want to show you guys another 50 Hellfire amulets - this time for the Barbarian. In this video I discuss ideal passives for softcore/hardcore, runner-up passives, and preferable rolls. I craft 50 amulets, briefly hover over the bad ones, then spend some time going over the few good ones I got (already enchanted), along with builds they'll be used for.
I didn't get as lucky as with other classes, but still rolled a good one and Barbs have a lot of usable passives. I also discuss roll prioritization, difficulty in rerolling crit damage, and choosing between an immunity amulet and a Hellfire. Enjoy!
Just a comment on your "honorable mention" for Weapon Master: The 8% Damage bonus (Using Maximus) actually only adds around a total 6.5% damage increase to my current build, since it is additive to Hexing Pants. If I add in Battle shout as well (Maurader's Rage for pet build), Weapon Master is now valued at 5.7% Increase. Going even further and adding in Berserker Rage, WM now increases overall by 4.8%. Here are the in-game numbers for comparison:
Base DPS with only Hexing Pants as D.I.B.S: 964,378
Hexing + Weapon Master: 1,026,028 (6.392% Increase over just Hexing)
Hexing + Marauder's Rage: 1,126,792 (16.841% Increase over just Hexing)
Hexing + MR + Weapon Master: 1,191,181 (5.714% Increase over Hexing + MR)
Hexing + MR + Berserker Rage: 1,328,006 (37.706% Increase over just Hexing)
Hexing + MR + BR + Weapon Master: 1,392,394 (4.848% Increase over Hexing + MR + BR)
At least for Maximus, Weapon master actually becomes a very small damage increase as you add in other boosts. Granted, not everyone will be using Hexing pants, Berserker Rage or even Battle Shout, but I thought I would provide some math to demonstrate how it can quickly become a very weak passive for Maximus users. The Crit end of it may be quite different, but I'm too tired to throw together a build to test out numbers.
I have 2 100% go-to passives that I use in every single build: Ruthless and Superstition. As you pointed out, they work no matter what, and really help you kill / survive elite packs at higher GR.

Nice video as usual
Thanks for the analysis. Yes Weapon Master is an outlier - it can be really good or really bad depending on your needs. 8% attack speed can be awesome if you hit a breakpoint. 5% crit is a pretty big damage boost (25% damage boost if you're at 500% CHD). The other two are 'meh' though.
Ruthless is on average a 12% damage boost, depending on how it works with other multipliers (separate stack?) and whether you 'overkill' or not.
