if you can't survive act 3 with 8.7k armor and 800 resis, then something is really wrong..
Getting my ass handed to me, especially by the lickers and skeletons with the big axes and any ranged mobs with these stats so... imo gonna need a Stormshield and 400-500 more physical resist.
Passives: Nerves of Steel, Tough as Nails, Superstition
looking at your items i'd say you have atleast 5 items from act 3 or 4 (judging by the red colored icons, could be wrong though)
so if im right you basically need a lot of act 3/4 gear to do act 2 >.<
You could do it with a2 gear, but getting that gear would be a pain. that gear is about 200 RA more than when I first did it, and I didn't have the block % ring. Also, the pieces could be itemized a lot better... They are pretty much only RA + vit or RA + str. Killing the blues were harder than belial in some ways.
That said, save yourself a lot of headache and just farm gold to buy the a3/4 gear.
The belt is another real good tank item to get. Doesn't have block on it, but it can have anywhere from 10-20% melee damage reduction. It's level 52, String of Ears. That one only had 12%
you misunderstood me, i know legendaries are his belt and ring which are actually orange color but the ones im talking about are magic items found on his gloves, shoulders, boots, chest and legs, the background is blue but the item icon itself is red
Was about to just type that for you.
Anyways, I think his blues will probably be Vital / Resist All only. They probably won't cost much from the AH, since alot of people don't value resistance high... when it's a must have stat to clear inferno.
Exactly. Although, prices did spike for a while, now they are starting to simmer down again.
I honestly don't find Belial all that tough compared to some of the packs you must kill to get the five stacks. Ended up killing him on my second inferno attempt and had him on farm right after.
I got there with 5 stacks, skipped only fast/fire chain and fast/molten, but couldn't get it down. 48k hp, 9k armor, 500ish all resist.
I suppose I need a bit more all resist, but then I have to loose some damage (14k, 17k with berserker rage passive) Y_Y
I usually play with wrath of the berserker, really helps taking down the elites imo, but for belial I guess having furious charge with dreadnaught might be the awesome extra bit of healing I need to get through the 2nd add phase, since once you're done with the adds the fight becomes a cakewalk :-)
Yeah, I like having the charge for heals and for gap closing (more dps time on boss). You don't need a whole lot of damage to do the fight, as it's not a dps race. As long as you can survive the adds while pumping out enough AoE to take them down (sidearm and revenge), then you're set.
I mainly use ignore pain for p3 if I get trapped by his meteors, and threatening shout isn't needed I felt like, but I was using it for the elite packs. Wrath of the Berserker is a bit overkill for the fight though, as you don't really hit any parts where you need to necessarily nuke anything.
I'm currently on my way to larder in a3, but wow.... Those skele's with the giant axe damn near one shot me. Kind of at a stand still until I figure something out there.

Skipped fire chain packs, just because they annoy me.
Currently working on surviving in a3 at the moment.
lol I haven't tried with my current stats yet My first belial kill was with much lower stats...

Check out Justice Lantern, it's a ring with 11% chance to block. Helm of Command also gives you block % iirc. My shield already had 25%.

What kind of build are you running with?
