so i have been wondering what does the connection of the wanderer cutscence and the actual gameplay have to do with each other. just wondering if they even have a similarity and invovelment in the story.
The wanderer cutscenes? You mean the ones with that dude, whats his name... errr... Marius!
Of corse the cutscenes are connected to the storyline, in one cinematic Marius takes out Baals soulstone. Without that event Baal would still be snug in his tomb, but who knows whether Tyreal could of beaten off Diablo... He already lost his sword before Baal was freed... Tyraels a noob
well i was just wondering why in the cutscences you see one guy who got out af a jail and a wanderer guy trying to guide him. then when you play the game you dont see them what so ever. that was my question. why you play as the sroc or the barb but never play or see marius if thats his name. now that i think about it. maybe the 6 players that you could play as are the ones cleaning up the mess maybe. man i'm cunfused.
The guy in the brown hooded cloak in the cut scenes/movies is in act III. It labels him as the Dark Wanderer.
Marius and the Dark Wanderer travel to each act before you do. There is a fairly sizable time delay between you killing Diablo and Marius when he is i nthe asylum recapping his adventures with the wanderer.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
The character is following them, and The Dark Wanderer is Diablo. Why Marius tags along no one really knows though, he's probably a tool of the developers to tell the story.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
and at one point you actually meet up with the wanderer outside the kurast docks in the game, though he quickly dissapears leaving demons behind to fight.

Maybe I'm not getting the question
