How is everyone preparing for the midnight launch of RoS?
I've got some pizza pockets, Monster energy drinks, tea, and some chips. These all sound like good ideas but I was hoping people could shed some light on what will keep me going for 20-30 hours.
You do know people have died after gaming 30 or more hours? plus, whats the point... well, i guess if it's fun for you to not sleep for that amount of time, then it's fine... do remember to stand up from time to time and stretch a little, or walk around your house a couple of minutes. To stay awake, well, what you have seems good i guess... i have heard apples can help people wake up, so i guess it wouldn't hurt to have a couple
Sweets and energy drinks won't keep you up, they'll probably do the opposite, unless you're gonna chug one down every 30 - 60 minutes. Better off drinking water and having some healthier snack if your sole purpose is to stay up and play.

Yeah, people who literally sit in front of their computer for 30+ hours without eating or drinking or taking the occasional break. I've had tons of insanely long gaming sessions when I was younger without any problem at all (too old for that shit now tho, I get sleepy no matter how much coffee I chug), as long as you take some breaks to refill and refresh you'll be fine.
from what i know, it's the seating mostly, they don't die from dehydration, but siting for long amounts of time sends the chances for strokes to the roof, and i think the chances for coronaries go up too
Tonight: 1 gallon Turkey Hill iced tea, some cashews/almonds, Simpsons seasons 5/6 for background noise
Tomorrow morning: 24 oz Wawa coffee, breakfast sandwich, and start a pot of coffee when I get home from Wawa, and either more Simpsons or one of Monday's NHL games streaming
Tonight: eat a good meal, but the kids down for bed, go for a run, do some stretching, clean up the house, pour a serving of Makers and play for an hour before bed.
i'll be working, may get up early to see if i can get in and at least see act V. I am hoping when i get home from work i will be able to log in. fingers crossed!
I got some steaks marinating and cold beer in the fridge.

i would choose my own religion and worship my own spirit, but if he ever preached to me i wouldn't want to hear it. i'd drop him, a forgotten god, languishing in shame; and then if i hit stormy seas, i'd have myself to blame.
