Are u fucking stupid, u cant comment unless u are FRIENDS with Chris....
ROFL, the amount of asslicking from mods here are intense.
It's hard to add someone on facebook I know. A lot of people will add random people not thinking much of it. Just look at my post, check it out yourself, the proof is in the pudding.
READ the post, I'm not saying the picture is fake. I'm saying someone changed their name to Jay Wilson, changed their picture, incited a little chaos with the post, liked some comments and then deleted the "Jay Wilson" comment and changed their name to "Jay Wilson Eats TooMuch"
are you retarded? That group of people are obviously staff. Not just anybody can comment. They need to be friends, that's how facebook works. You're only trolling yourself.
The the comment is gone, which may look suspicious until you think about it. You can literally make another account, name it Jay Wilson and have the exact same picture and say what you want. Also if you notice in the likes, a lot of them are liked by "Jay Wilson Eats Toomuch" Which was probably the troll that had his name as Jay Wilson.
It's pretty common. Usually I see it in the form of...
Person A: I love puppies
Person B: ^ is a moron
Person C: ^ Is a dumbass
Then person B removes his comment. and it looks like person C just called person A a dumbass. In any event I highly doubt it's true, and not "oh well you're a moderator you have to say that." No. I could say yeah he's a diick and jump the bandwagon but it seems pretty clear to me someone was trolling, and it was successful.
Also notice how "Jay Wilson Eats TooMuch" has no friends, is a new account, and is now trying to "point out what happened" after he liked the comment "Jay Wilson" supposedly left. So he was so against what was said he liked the comments?
Edit: The amount of people willing to just believe this without looking more is astonishing. You think Jay would actually post something like that? He'd be fired almost immediately.
So you seriously think that someone had a jay wilson account ready to post at the exact same moment with a mobile phone AND Chris Haga had TWO Jay Wilsons as friends AND Jill Harrington believed it, too??
damage control
I did some backtracing. this daemaro guy works for blizzard
They basically went to war with the Diablo franchise. They took it down like Nazis marching into Poland, and have the nerve to be upset when they're called out on it by fans, the original Diablo devs, and even the gaming press.
My favorite part is that you posted this while tabbed out from either playing WoW, SC2 or Diablo 3. Guarantee it.
The number of jaded people who continue to play Diablo 3 or other blizzard titles and stay on fansites ONLY to look for reasons to be upset or angry about something is amazing. You've been playing D3 and browsing the D3 fan site for the last 8 hours? Please, tell me more about how much you hate the game and how much of a failure it is. /Willywonkameme
Anyone insulted or offended by something like Jay Wilson's comment there lives an incredibly sheltered life. He should be applauded for talking like a human being in an over politically correct upside down world where people are constantly thrown to the dogs for speaking their mind and often speaking the truth.
You can change your name on the fly, you don't have to have it pre-planned. And yeah some blizzard people probably jumped on the bandwagon, because thats how people work. Look whats happening here. Bandwagon!
Guy changed his picture.
Changed his name.
Made a troll comment to incite chaos.
Deleted his comment after a few minutes, and shazam here we are.
Torchlight that didn't take risks with 3rd person would have sold 5-10 millions. I mean those are games made by the true team behind D2 and the PR made sure to point that with every occasion just like they do now with that F2P Marvel based MMO.
It's like a movie sequel, or the next Call of Duty game, people buy it because of the name and the experience they had in the previous titles. Yes maybe other games say "from the makers of" ect, but that kind of marketing still isn't nearly as powerful. People also buy Blizzard games specifically because of their past successes, and the quality that the name represents. What you are saying is that a movie "From the makers of Star Wars" should be just as successful as a Star Wars sequel. That's not how things work out
Hey jay Wilson go fuck yourself "loser" trying to delete your comment!! LOL you wish you were anything as brilliant as David Brevik and you ruined the hell out of the diablo series way to go ass hat.
At least you chose a good picture to go with your account, and your first post.
Hey what's that!
oh... the door.
its actually the picture they automaticall add to a first time poster
You can change your name on the fly, you don't have to have it pre-planned. And yeah some blizzard people probably jumped on the bandwagon, because thats how people work. Look whats happening here. Bandwagon!

Is it you Jay?
Yup I made this account back in 06', before I was even hired by Blizzard, just to work my way onto the staff and prepare for moments like this. I mean I have tons of spare time in between working here, working to develop games and having a family.
C'mon guys seriously. You're like rabid dogs just waiting for anything to tear into Jay Wilson about. Re-read my posts, go check the information for yourselves. It's just a successful troll.
I think it illustrates exactly how deep the state of denial the developers are regarding Diablo 3. The guy tries to say as politely as he could his feelings about this bad new turn in the DIablo series, and they just answer in a ridiculous butthurt fashion.
I do know they might be facing some hard times, handling all the community backlash, and its easy to snap under pressure - after all, it is at their "record breaking baby" people are throwing rocks at (and I do believe most of the dev team put a lot of passion in making the game, and did their best with the shitty orders and directions they received).
Still, the criticism is deserved and it is about time they shrug off this denial state and really sit down and reflect upon the handicapped product they delivered, and face head-on (not superficially as until now) DIablo 3 issues, most of which are simply a by-product of really bad early development calls.
The fastest selling PC game of all time only achieved this status through the weight of the DIablo brand (thus, its predecessors' work), the devotion of Blizzard's fanbase and a really good marketing department. Although Diablo is a good game, we all know it didn't reach the podium by its own merits, and I think Brevik deserved more respect, and the D3 developers, more humility to swallow the pride and work to make the game worthy of the record.
I wish, because it would be hilarious. As I said earlier, I clicked on the profile name when the comment was still up, and it went to the profile you say is the legit one (and it clearly was his profile). Several other people did the same. He said it, you should probably stop trying to say it was a troll, it makes you look silly. I'll bet you a million gold it wasn't a troll XD
Bet all you want. Remember the time lots of people claimed they were being hacked with authenticators and it wasn't true? People bandwagon, they want it to be true so they'll easily lie and say "Yeah I clicked the link, this was legit."
Also keep in mind you're on these forums, under these forum rules, so cut out the calling me retarded and fucking stupid bit or you will be banned. You can disagree all you want, I didn't click the link, so I don't know. It just seems far more likely this is a troll to me. Too much coincidence.

So I'm a liar am I? Sigh. I never really expected the response this thread garnered, and honestly just thought it was kind of funny that Jay made that comment. I wouldn't be surprised if he issues an apology of some kind. Feel free to delete the thread, or whatever, I'm going to sleep. Don't really appreciate being called a liar though, even in an indirect way.

Jesus christ dude. You're ignoring all of the comments full of statements proving what you're saying to be wrong. You can't post on that status without being Chris' friend. Those are official blizzard employee facebook pages. Do some research of your own and quit with the damage control before this site loses any credibility it might have.
Also consider how the Curse network might view your actions right now. Last I checked the curse network is full of gaming news sites, many of which pertain to Blizzard games. This is entirely relevant and is not something you or anyone else has the right to try and cover up.
Seriously, your condescending tone and blatant ignorance is disgusting.
You guys may very well be right, I just find it far more likely someone did this as a troll. It all adds up.
Where do you see me trying to cover things up? I would just delete the thread if that was the case. I'm just explaining what I think happened like you guys are explaining what you think happened. I find it more likely that the scenario I put forth happened than believing people I never met all happened to click the link and it was Jay's real page.
I think that's a logical reaction. If I told you... President Obama made a facebook comment slandering Jews but he deleted the comment and I assured you the link was actually his would you believe me if it didn't make sense to you? Of course not.
You guys are free to believe what you want, no one is disputing that.
And if what was posted was actually him, shame on him and he should know better. That's in pretty bad taste.

Get a fucking life, a girlfriend.....something. Why the hell? I couldn't care less if Jay Wilson donkey punched a nun.
God dammit this is a great website but I'm so sick of the bullshit drama here and on Bnet. WTF is the motherfucking malfunction with you people?
