im doing mf runs in a3 with 285-330mf and getting shit loot.

MF increases the rarity of item drops, not the iLevel. Also, acts 3 and 4 are bugged and a waste of time to farm atm.

so where the fuck do I find a3-4 gear if not a3-4

Act 1 and 2 drop the gear as well, just not AS high of chances as Act 3 or 4 (or rather, as high as Act 3 and 4 SHOULD be).

Act 1 is likely the easiest as far as risk goes.

Act 2 you get better numbers, but some annoying enemies.
