I have a question for the community and hope to see your opinion on this topic.
I kind of have a strange feeling, that after BlizzCon and all the fiasco with other AAA titles and controversies (EA, Bethesda etc). Heroes going, 100+ Blizzard employees leaving...
The quiet, that is right now is somehow very strange to me and wonder if this is a good or bad sign.
The 100 employees were on contracts that ended at the end of the year, so I wouldn't look at that as a bad sign. (they were also from the Europian division)
There is no doubt in my mind that Blizzard needs to take a step back and re-evaluate what kind of company it wants to be going forward, I know they have activision whispering in their ears like the Old Gods, it is about finding the balance, they are on track to have a new game every year, and that has never been a good strategy.
Activision Blizzard made $4 billion in 2017 with microtransactions only.
Diablo franchise that we knew and loved is dead because it's not as profitable.
Thats why the stocks are dropping non stop? Almost 50% compared to 2017, we are near 2019, I wouldn't compare with profits 2 years ago. Morhaime sold shares and the Director too (can't remember the name though). New job postings popping up (over 20) for unannounced Diablo project. No communication at all.
I just said that microtransactios is the path Activision Blizzard will take because that's where the money is. That is why they outsourced their IP to a shitty chinese company very well known for it's ripoffs P2W games.
Why the frack are they going to be vocal to the community now ? Just to get more backlash ?

Yes I did read it, and I just argumented with a fact to the stock price. It will calm down, for sure, as MTX are an ongoing trend, but the trend will have some serious problems, while here in EU, MTX will probably be forbidden. EU market gone, more stock drops.

You completely missed what I said. Twice now. It's like you are quoting me by accident.
I'm NOT talking about the goddamned stock price. What I'm saying is that we probably will never see Diablo franchise reach it's glory again on PC because it's not profitable enough. And after the BlizzCon fiasco they will think twice before addressing the community with "news". Specially the ones like "Forges are burning hot"! Multiple projects in the works!".
It sucks but i have to agree with rayden_Weiss ; Diablo will never be the same as we know because diablo isnt a game that u can make alot of money with microtransaction and also they refuse to make dark, evil, bloody games anymore all they do is kids gamegs like hs wow and d3 i hope they sell the ip to another compagny that wants to make a real diablo one day we didnt have a real diablo since LOD .. it's been a while and it sucks rn we're just getting trolled with immortal which sucks alot we will see in the future what happens gl to everyone waiting for d4 but i have no hope since we saw immortal and d3

What are your thoughts?
Do you mean aside from it being nearly Christmas and everyone being away for the holidays?
And may the odds be ever in your favour.

Yeah, beside this, hoped to see more blues.

Nothing strange at all...

"Do you guys not have phones?"

Want more?
Did you even read what I wrote ?
