1) I get in: Awesome!
2) I don't get in: I get to experience the game as a fresh start, unlike beta players who will have done the Skele king over and over and will know what to expect.

I actually am glad I can't participate in the beta...it will be like just being able to have one teaspoon full of condensed milk, while the other 99 teaspoon full(s) sits on your counter top glaring at you...not cool.
I have a theory that he is in fact Santa Claus and have been busy delivering presents..
right?
US scientists calculated that Santa would have to visit 822 homes a second to deliver all presents on Christmas Eve, travelling at 650 miles a second.
That would mean Proletaria is in fact not human as many must have guessed already. Maybe he slacked off a bit and are still delivering some presents? We should ask him when he finally post again...
it occurs to me that blizzard prefer to choose beta testers within the country, for those who live in foreign country have less chance
but honestly i care more about getting CE over getting beta .

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.
Honestly... stop obsessing. The beta is fun, it is. But it is cruelly short. It will do nothing more than make you want the real game more. You're not missing out.

didnt get mine either, but i lost hope awhile ago. i dont understand why they dont just make it an open beta. if the whole reason behind it is to test server staility, how is testing 100-200 going to prove anything when day of launch there will be hundreds of thousands at once?

(this build was before D3 launched... looking back on it now - i had no idea what i was doing)
After the first week after beta invites went out of chewing my fingers in anticipation of playing the Beta, I soon got sick of jumping through hoops of ever more ridiculous contests all for a minute chance to win a beta key. I stopped entering contests and left my chances up to the sweepstake and standard opt in, forgot about it and chilled out. Now I'm agreeing with a few others that I'm not all that bothered if I don't get in, since when I get to play the game it will be 100% new and fresh to me and I won't be sick of running the Skelly king 100 times already.
True. I don't know what would suck more. Playing the beta and knowing what the game is like and having to wait, or not playing and just waiting and wondering what it's like. Both seem unhealthy lol.
Even I haven't get beta for myself I had chance to play it (bless you d2jsp). Sometimes i think about playing it for few more hours but then i take arrow to the knee.
HARDY HARDY HAR. Way too overused now.
Totally not worth the fg to pay for a beta (in my opinion), even if I had the fg to pay for it.
You will probably hate me, but I was rly excited to get my hands on the beta. But the game is really limited right now. Some bugs makes half the class not really usable (lag bugs) so you can't really have an idea of how the game will feel. Most exciting features, namely the runes, the recipes, the magicfind, inferno modes, are indeed absent. So in the end, after a few hours of running the same quest again and again, you find yourself wanting for more.
Before playing the game, I would have payed someone a good $50-100 to get my hands on it. But now, I wouldn't pay a penny for it. That being said, the beta is a very nice hint of how cool the game will be. But sadly, you just can't have a taste of it with the beta. All the interesting spells, items, legendaries, runes, hardmodes, bosses are not there.
The only thing that makes people still "test" (play) the game right now, is the lvl13 Slingshot Rare Hand Crossbow, that is without a doubt the best item in game. The good part, is that a rare craftable item can indeed make a very deep and interesting gameplay for the AH and endgame. The bad part, is that only the hand crossbow (DH only) is giving players a "real endgame" feel to the beta. I would have loved to see something like this for every other class.

sounds like your comp... have no issue with any characters

The blue mace for the other classes that can go up to 26 dps

It's actualy a known issue on alot of channel spells like Rapidfire and alot of wiz spells
The blue mace for the other classes that can go up to 26 dps
It is indeed a good item of its own, but nothing compared to the slingshot, and way less interesting simply because of it being a blue item, not a rare one, so less attributes possibility.
and I 100% get what you mean, a rare is a lot more fun than a blue (part of diablo right?) but I still think, in this case, its just as fun. I like doing a alt run, and getting enough mats to make 5-6 maces and seeing what I get, seeing if I get the lucky 25.6 or w/e.
Your optimism makes me happy in pants.

Why is there talk of people with the beta?! Blasphemy!
"Don't worry, you aren't missing much! The beta is really limited! I'm bored with it already!"
