Hey guys, so after a long while telling myself i wont Opt-in to the Beta, i gave in a decided to register. However, does this mean that its going to be harder for me to get in since i registered so late? Or is it more of a random thing?

Depends somewhat on what your system specs are. I think they're trying to get a fairly mixed group of people with different kinds of machines. The rest, however, is just luck at this point. If you get selected it's cause they basically drew your name out of a hat.
I wanted to say something, but I can't stop staring at your sig's photos.
EDIT: Oh, right. I think that you have the same chance as anyone, as far as I know there is not a "first come, first served" criteria in Beta Keys being delivered. Only system specs and maybe geographic location.
On topic, Probably wont affect anything I do not see blizzard actually caring when people "opted in" I do believe there should be some form of test though that would affect opt ins, something to prove you can catch a bug and be able to aptly describe it as a lot of people who want in just want to play the game and not help "fix" it
Just looked at the FAQs on blizzard so you are all correct:
How are beta test participants selected from the opt-in pool?
Beta testers are chosen according to their system specifications and other factors, including an element of luck. Our goal is to have a good variety of system types to best test compatibility.

Which is somewhat sad. 6-7 years with active game accounts and not a single beta invite. Sad puppy.

Such a test is impossible really. I've been in some betas that were said to be bug heavy, and they were, but I ended up not finding a single bug the time I was playing it. I was usually an active member of the community and gave feedback but never found a bug. Some people just told me I was stupid, but there was no that warranted reporting, at most I would find something that had been recently reported, and the most I could do was say how it happened to me.
