One would indeed find satisfaction at the prospect of the developers continuing their 'Sin' theme. A commensurable followup to creature known as the 'Thousand Pounder - Gluttony Incarnate' might, as one would expect, be that of the forbidden fruit. Thus perhaps the title 'Carnal Fiend - Lust Incarnate' would be adequately proportionate for a creature serving the aforementioned purpose.
As to the suggestion of imaginative monsters, an individual such as myself, would find a tremendous liking towards the inclusion of a mighty denizen of darkness, found within the great abyssal pits of the Dreadlands plains. An abomination of a beast, this chimeral creature utilizes a multitude of supremely flexible appendages for mobility, and four pairs of especially prodigious horn-rimmed limbs for the tearing away of flesh. What sits upon its shoulders is that of sheer terror, a great eyeless and gaping jaw filled with rows of serrated teeth. Legends once speak of it being a creature of light, a guardian of peace, and an embodiment of grace. An ancient parable:
Whence thy gaze beholdth a shadow, it taketh away, unto which it cast a light.
Whence thy heart grips of sorrow, it taketh away, unto which it giveth thee might.
Whence thy soul leaveth a morrow, it taketh away, unto which it bestoweth but life.
O saviour, doest we the unworthy asketh, hath thine grace comest to saveth us unto the passeth of Sanctuary?
Scribers have since argued and debated for millennia as to the details of what had occured following the creation of the ancient parable. For once existed a creature of light, now terrorizes as a creature of death. It was henceforth bestowed upon it the name of 'Horror Elemental - Flesh Behemoth '.
The reasons for the creatures altered specificity was completely unknown to Sanctuarys inhabitants and has remained so to the present. It has since disappeared, and what was once a threat, was then passed into lore, and finally into legend...

Indeed. Perhaps more, if not all 7 may appear. I would certainly enjoy seeing something embodying each of the sins.
ENVY- The Sin of feeling a grudging admiration and desire to have something possessed by another.
WRATH- The Sin of punishment or vengeance as a manifestation of anger.
SLOTH- The sin of avoidance of physical or spiritual work
LUST- The Sin of self-indulgent or a great desire.
GREED- The sin of excessive desire to acquire or possess more (especially material wealth) than one needs or deserves.
GLUTTONY- The Sin of overindulgence (food, drink or intoxicants), the misplaced desire for food for its sensuality, or the withholding of food from the needy.
PRIDE- The sin of unreasonable and inordinate self-esteem.
Though really I wouldn't mind seeing some old faces again. Magistrates, Balrogs, Hidden (the invisible guys), Red Storms (lightning throwers), Horned Demons (Rhinos) Succubi, Demon Knights from D1.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Envy would surely be undead. Thats why undead are minions of Hatred - hatred for the living who don't suffer like they do. The undead are jealous of us.
That they would. The Undead quite well display aspects of envy.
Quote from Diablo 1 Manual »
Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred (Odium)
The legions of Mephisto are driven by a hatred of all living
things - especially those who are pure of heart. He counts as
minions both the walking dead, who forever seek vengeance
upon the living, as well as a host of demonically corrupted
creatures whose twisted limbs and misshapen bodies leave
them in eternal agony and rage.
But they also lean toward Wrath. Hate leads to Anger (or what ever it is that Yoda says). Anger is another word for wrath.
But I think Baal has Wrath covered
Quote from Diablo 1 Manual »
Baal, Lord of Destruction (Excidium)
The soldiers of Baal seek the undoing of the universe. They
strive for ultimate disorder and destruction, and to this end
covet the destruction of all they behold. Order is an abhorrence
to them and these creatures are the manifestation of the forces
of chaos.
Wrath as a monster is generally a very angry destructive creature.
Was just reading the note about Spitting Terrors. Seems they share a thing or two in common with the sin of GLuttony, though Thousand Pounder had that sin covered.
Quote from Diablo 1 Manual »
Spitting Terrors (Bestia Acerbus)
After an especially violent battle, Baal enjoyed celebrating with
his Brothers by holding a disgusting feast of blood, human flesh,
and other Hellish delights. The Bestia Acerbus are the
descendants of doglike creatures that lived by feeding upon
the remains of Baal’s nightmarish feasts. The variety of vile
substances that the creatures consumed, along with their close
proximity to the Lord of Destruction, twisted and warped the
viscera of these Hounds of Hell. This diabolic species is capable
of spitting up a variety of caustic fluids and projecting them a
considerable distance. Packs of these terrors are especially
devastating, as their bile has been known to eat through the
strongest of armor and poison the most hearty men.
Great care must be taken when within the lair of these Bestia.
Their venom retains its potency for a considerable amount of
time and puddles of it may be found everywhere. When killed,
the beast’s inner toxins eat through the now-dead flesh, leaving
a dangerous trap for those foolish enough to tread upon the
corpse.
Not too sure which Sin those who follow Diablo bear a resemblence to though.
Quote from Diablo 1 Manual »
Diablo, Lord of Terror (Metus)
Using illusion and fear as their greatest weapons, the attendants
to Diablo are formidable adversaries. They prefer to wait for
their opponent to display a moment of weakness before they
attack. Equally dangerous in the dark or in your dreams, they
are the fears of man made flesh by Diablo’s will. These
nightmares lurk at the edges of mortal perception from the
moment that you take your first breath - and they long to be
with you when your take your last.
But then again, with The Succubi harem of Baal, and Azmodan the Lord of Sin along with his army the Horned Death, and any sins they might embody, Diablo and his ilk need not actually resemble a sin.

Nah, I'm pretty happy with Blizzard's lineup in Diablo II, so I think they can also nail Diablo III.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
