Alright, I know that on the top of the forum there is a thread that discusses what classes should be in Diablo 3. But this is kind of a different question.
What class do you want to see returning from Diablo 2, and what changes do you want to see made in that class. I'm personnaly hoping for the Druid to return, because we was just plain fun to play as. Gimmie your opinions, and hopefully Blizzard will notice, and Diablo 3 will be the game we want it to be.
Feel free to vote for more than one class, but try to keep it reasonable. Don't vote for more than 3 please.
Btw, i did not include the Barbarian because well, he's already in.

"Waiter, waiter, could you come here. I think you got some WoW in my Diablo. Could you take it back to Blizzard and fix it for me please."
Barbarian, above all, was the one class I was hoping for the most. Luckily, it's one of the first to be introduced, so next on my list would be the Amazon. Not expecting too much to change - lookin' forward to being surprised, heheh.

sorry man no amazon, as someone allready called it in another thread, there are no "manazons"

Aye, I've taken into consideration Blizz's official word on the male and female versions of each class so I kinda figured as much. Still hopin' for something similar though, heheh.
Plus they would have the coolest side missions. Assassinations are always fun to simulate.
Didn't the commentary in the gameplay trailer say something about class specific sidequests? That would add a lot of valuable replayability to the game.

Yes they did. Thats one of the many things that I think I'm going to love about the game.

I also like the idea of seeing the character in the cinematics. Some fans are wary of this, but if they did it sort of like Mass Effect, I think it could be very tasteful. Diablo has always been a more story driven piece than a character driven one, but I hope they kind of mix these two storytelling elements more together.
It wa a hard decision between what I wanted and what will or will not most likely be in D3. The Necro is out for sure, I do specifically remember one of the developers even using the word "Necro" to describe the Witch Doctor skill tree. Amazons may be implemented still but they'd be renamed "Ranger" or something like that. There was Druid concept art in the art trailer, so I'm led to believe that he has the best chance, unfortunately. Assassin is still up in the air for me. Paladin is too cookie-cutter, especially since they already have a fighter-type class. So, yeah, I think since they kept the original fighter-type, they'd keep the original spellcaster-type.

Just for the record, I support the current direction of the art style.

I doubt you would the mass effect system implemented. The character classes all have their own personalities, and are very "animated". Bummer.
I only voted for Sorceresses (or Sorcerers), but it's mainly because I want to see new classes instead. The Barbarian was the only other class that I really liked to see return.
this has got to be the 4th duplicate thread iv seen asking the exact same thing........... anyways as iv said 4 times before, i would want the paladin more than any other class, and then the sorc/wizard

I vote for druid too
And I love just trying to imagine what stealthy skills they may have over all the other classes.

range 4 possible range chars // 3magic 1non magic
barb -straight melee
necro -straight range(magic)
druid -mix melee/range(magic) dependant on spec
sorc -straight range(magic)
"warrior" -mix melee/range(non magic) dependant on spec
that's how i see it going - goin to bed now.
