I just decided to put it in another thread with a more 'brighter' name. As the title states, in Diablo 3, the Prime Evils may have in fact merged together in one demon as seen i nteh cinematic trailer.
Now, I've replayed the cinematic part where the demon pops up and the middle head, of course, resembles Diablo, the right shoulder mouth has a horn on top of it, resembling alot like Mephisto's horn. And that leaves Baal's part in the left shoulder (He was always bald, excluding the tentacles coming frrom his head).
Not only did the resemblence make sense, but it does match with the name 'Project Hydra' and Hydras do have many head. Again, this is all speculatio nehre, but this theory mgiht actually work!
Note: Smash-Crunch was the orginal one who thought of this theory
This would be a bad idea on Blizzard's part because:
A) 2 less bosses they can use
Prevent the nostalgia and reminiscing that Diablo players want to feel in seeing recognizable faces.
C) Nothing like this is mentioned anywhere in Diablo lore and would leave players unable to truly fight Diablo.
D) It's pretty cheesy
E) It would hamper Blizzard's ability to create story for the following Diablo games since the Prime Evils are stuck together
