scary like diablo 1
-cloaks and capes over armor
-pubs and taverns, sometime adventurers just need a few drinks, a bit of entertainment (gambling/woman) and a rest, come on who hasnt wanted to pull up a barstool and drink with geglash in act 2 or drown your sorrows in the tavern of the rising sun when playing Diablo of course
-buying alcohol for adventurous minors it’s always fun (ala baldurs gate), intoxication would work like a curse
- choose male/female => choose class => choose faction heaven or hell and some form of customization like colours of armor and if it’s 3D, body size, facial hair and the like
-somewhere between 7-20 or so chars
more warrior and mage types, there are lots of warrior classes yet to be explored;
samurai(kensai)
ninja(male assassin)
hellion
ranger
anti paladin
-since its heaven vs hell it looks like there will be a light and dark version of each char (cool)
-some more warrior classes or warriors with a few magic spells 2 isnt really enough(barbar/zon)
-there is really only 1 healer(paly) and yes people like to going healers, so more healer classes;
monks(zealots)
clerics
warrior priests (think knight's templar with spells)
-a new type of mage would be nice either a;
Abjurer specializes in protection magic (kinda like auras)
Conjurer specializes in creating creates and objects to help him
Diviner specializes in detection and divining magic (find/disable trap, far sight and identify)
Enchanter specializes in manipulating the minds of sentient beings
geomancer specializes in earth based magic
hydromancer specializes in water based magic
Illiusionist specializes in creating illusions to confuse and mislead
Invoker specializes in invocation/evocation magic (ligthning/magic type spells)
pyromancer specializes in fire based magic
necromancer specializes in magic dealing with death[but we already have 1]
Transmuter specializes in magic that alters physical reality
warlock (not like the wow one) A supernatural character whose sinister powers are inborn abilities, not spells. -lots more quests 27 is not enough (30 with v1.12) => arena quests (last man standing), can place bets on multiplayer quest based on class (everybody does the same quest but it differs depending on which class you are) quests differ depending on faction (evil person could choice not to kill something, or they could choose to kill a good guy instead of save him) -quests that dont appear in quest log, (gheed wanted a gem a small weapon some gold or something didnt he) -quests that are normal/nightmare/hell only -some quests that are single/multiplayer only, -quest exp (getting exp just for finishing quest) -better quest rewards, also quest rewards improve with difficulty (such as 1 socket/imbue in normal, 2 in nightmare and 3 in hell) -higher max skill level (20 it too low, I know skills go higher than this but you can only add to a skill 20 times, then it stops) -an arena for dueling -higher max level -protect village (for x amount of time) quests, alternative invade x village (evil) I love these quests -taking on castles/fortresses full of demons, -the cow suit guy from diablo hellfire, -someone like farhnam the town drunk (he was so cool), -mercs that have better ai, can choose whether they act aggressive or passive, attack or defend, more choices, more powerful, and can use a few more items (not a full set), resurrection scrolls and be able to hire 2 max -a generic skill tab that everybody has with find item, find potion, disarm trap pick lock and spells like that -bring back flame wave, lightning wall, stone curse, and apocalypse -bring back the gargoyles from diablo -more powerful types of bad guy => Goat => Minotaur Fallen => fallen brute -mounts to make travelling faster (may or may not be able to attack be attacked if on mount) -bigger acts (act 2 and 5 size) with more internal stages like caves and dungeons -craggy peak stages -version of weapons more powerful than elite -characters to have a voice (can import voice if u wants to) -unofficial titles by which townsfolk refer to you kind like fable => For killing a few witches get a witchhunter title For killing a few daemons get a daemonhunter title and so forth -more people who unofficial follow you like the barbarians in act 5 -definitely no GUNS, definitely no GUNS or vampires, and half human/half something stupid, elves, dwarves, orcs, as a playable character (god I hate people who want these things) -also witches should be like adria in d1, or the corrupt rogues, not as a playable character -more villages/towns/cities, some ruined like tristram -villages full of possessed people -random npc adventurers (some dead and you can loot their stuff) -random people who give you a quest or two -more people in town to talk to, that don’t sell/give quests to you, like farhnam and geglash (yes people out there like to talk to these people) -more gems/better version of gems, more runes/more powerful and more rune words -tougher bosses (some with fewer minions) -go to amazon/necromancer homelands plus the kingdom of westmarch and north/south of kurast (we never went there in diablo 1, 2 or LOD) -seeing at it is heaven vs hell and we went to hell in diablo 1, 2 and LOD go to the high heavens (but not for a long time just one or two stages) -2.5D graphics, something between what diablo 1 and 2, and neverwinter nights were -if you can go to somewhere where it is impossible for the average person to go, dont have barrels and chests there, golden chests are ok they are special (demon horded treasure) -roc (giant birds) that pick up your mount/baddies -random badguys that ride on horses are charge at you -bring back the spells books from diablo 1(plus x lvls to x spell) -bring back the d1 shrines (plus x lvl to x spell, plus x amount to x stat) -more uniques, and more powerful, plus more that look different from their base item Bring back items of the pit (-x to x stat) -bring back the succubus from diablo -bring back the elixirs from diablo -bring back the oils from diablo hellfire -if the is something like the cube in d3 it should be available earlier in the game -more transmutable items -more craftable items -you can receive quests from monsters (like gharbad and snotspill in diablo) -more enemies that have a voice and say more than one line (like snotspill, zhar the mad, lazarus, gharbad) -bring back the butcher warlord of blood and the skeleton king -a random evil/good version of you, wandering around (like pokemon but not as lame), could be interesting -bring back the black knights from diablo, they were so cool bursting into flames when they died -a few quests where you are able to potentionally weaken a boss, (Na krul form hellfire, reading the books weaken him) -bring back the cornerstone of the world so you can trade between your chars, without having someone say they'll help then steal your items) -trophies => demon heads, pelts, hinds, scalps, hooves, horns, tusks (work like charms and some as items like weapons and cloaks) -the soundtrack with shipment -cloth map of the world -DVD of the movies -strategy guide comes with it, (some people need it), I pick up a few things from these books every now and again -random shopkeepers who can sell you things outside of towns (may be singleplayer only, as pkers would have a clear shot at you, unless they were in a house or something) -more badguys who worship a badguy and yell his name (carvers yell out rakanishu) -could throw in some cultural references for fun (baldur's gate had a character called sir garrick and he was modeled on sir robin form monty pythons holy grail, he even sang the song), also references to Warcraft, (Warcraft had wirt’s other leg, the latter had wirts leg) -new types of weapons, whips [yeh i went there], slings and these; bayonets (see Anderson form Hellsing) katana, ninja to and wakazashi (I know this isnt an asian themed game or DND, but you should know what i mean) -every class should be able to use two small weapons at the same time (daggers, dirks, kriss you know the small ones) -if you fall just short of the strength requirement (5-10 under) of a weapon you can still use it but you drag it and use two hands to swing it, like the skeletons in act 5 (would be cool/funny) -random NPC groups out killing demons, (groups of paladins and assassins out doing their jobs that sort of thing) -bring back gambling for unique and set items, which was cool -more set items (class specific sets) -bigger inventory -more visual variety in badguys -skull piles/skeletons on the ground, should yield skulls of varying power -demons disguised as people in town -trade gold for exp -goatman/fallen armies complete with camps and chariots -weapons racks should be like they were in diablo (armories of hell, you know where each item sold for 10000gp -the ability to sheath weapons -fist fighting quests, survive a few rounds to get a weapon or learn some info, that sort of thing -if you go to an area from d1, d2 or LOD, it should look the same, not like how D2tristram differs from diablo tristram (rivers are different and no cathedral, it would have been cool to do even the first four stages of the labyrinth) -6 – 8 feet tall swords, which even someone like the barbarian has to use two hands to swing it -if you are evil (faction Hell), you can attempt to steal items from shopkeepers (click button next to repair) -bring back the kill counter -items dump in piles that you click on and it brings up an inventory, (like neverwinter nights and Baldur’s gate) I hate just seeing piles of gold and items everywhere -more Scottish or Irish npcs like Griswold and Cain -belts auto fill, like how if you have a column empty on your belt and you pick up a potion in fills up, do that same thing with potion from inventory, if you have room, potions automatically go into your belt -since it will be similar to wow, guilds will be cool
-Upgrades and add-ons to your armor (so you don't have to buy new armor) -Upgrades and add-ons to your weapons as well. -A secret Cow Level. -More good characters gone bad like Griswold. -After you die in Hard core you can still walk around in town/heaven. (It would only be -fun though on multiplayer)
The previous 5 supplied by kingpin is generally what is needed in d3

personaly i'd like to se the re-emurgance of the clasic bad guys. and all though i hate teh lil basteards, it might be kool to play as a fallen one for a while lol. and since its supost to be a an rpg, how about an evolution system if you play as ange or demon, start out with yoru basics.
"evil"
dark warrior- the front ment and grunts of hells assult teams
lust slinger- bare bottom of the succubi
and teh necromacer-need i go through with it?
"Good"
lesser angel-again heavens frount line
muses-long range and deadly archer
geomancer- the powers of earth are his main focus
now from there once yoru stats reach a certian level. or a spacific skill is aquiered they evolve into something else.
liek for example.
the dark warrior. once he gets 130 str and 80 vital he changes into a dread knight.
or when he gets to a certain dex and str. he evolves in to a discord warrior.
i think that would be prity kool, that way theres no set char. line. ok start as a mage...ehh end as a mage. big deal.
start as a dark warrior. end as a (for example) greater evil....sais you whent up the ranks from rock bottom. its just an idea.
I don think there should be difficulties in the game just as you go along and to different places monsters just get harder make it one big world i think would be much better.also i agree with more classes and maybe go mroe in depth with the skills.also i think they should have more side quests, some hard some easy i loved diablo 2 and the expansion but it was too short.
hell i beat uber trist with a level 6 summoner necro lol, level 20 summoner necro, and i never stayed interested long enough for hell difficulty. so basicly what i'm sayign is, summoner necros kick ass
lol i think ur doing the wrong trist... i assume ur not getting the 3 keys?? key of hate key of destruction and key of terror then getting the organs and making the portal to uber trist??? ill put it to you this way, my lvl 92 summoner necro, a perfect build skill wize, backed by a lvl 40 bo and shout would have some truble in uber trist

If you ever meet a hafling and a hungry dragon you dont have to outrun the dragon, you only have to outrun the hafling.
ahh, i beleave yoru right.never even heard of teh keys. ohh and i found out why blizard put teh cow level in d2....remember in d1 you kept fing with teh cows in teh corner...paybacks a bitch lol
didnt the stick the cow level in to quell the rumour of the cow level
heres what i want to see in d3 scary like diablo 1

-every class should be able to use two small weapons at the same time (daggers, dirks, kriss you know the small ones)
-if you fall just short of the strength requirement (5-10 under) of a weapon you can still use it but you drag it and use two hands to swing it, like the skeletons in act 5 (would be cool/funny)
-random NPC groups out killing demons, (groups of paladins and assassins out doing their jobs that sort of thing)
-bring back gambling for unique and set items, which was cool
-more set items (class specific sets)
-bigger inventory
-more visual variety in badguys
-skull piles/skeletons on the ground, should yield skulls of varying power
-demons disguised as people in town
-trade gold for exp
-goatman/fallen armies complete with camps and chariots
-weapons racks should be like they were in diablo (armories of hell, you know where each item sold for 10000gp
-the ability to sheath weapons
-fist fighting quests, survive a few rounds to get a weapon or learn some info, that sort of thing
-if you go to an area from d1, d2 or LOD, it should look the same, not like how D2tristram differs from diablo tristram (rivers are different and no cathedral, it would have been cool to do even the first four stages of the labyrinth)
-6 – 8 feet tall swords, which even someone like the barbarian has to use two hands to swing it
-if you are evil (faction Hell), you can attempt to steal items from shopkeepers (click button next to repair)
-bring back the kill counter
-items dump in piles that you click on and it brings up an inventory, (like neverwinter nights and Baldur’s gate) I hate just seeing piles of gold and items everywhere
-more Scottish or Irish npcs like Griswold and Cain
-belts auto fill, like how if you have a column empty on your belt and you pick up a potion in fills up, do that same thing with potion from inventory, if you have room, potions automatically go into your belt
-since it will be similar to wow, guilds will be cool
-Upgrades and add-ons to your armor (so you don't have to buy new armor)
-Upgrades and add-ons to your weapons as well.
-A secret Cow Level.
-More good characters gone bad like Griswold.
-After you die in Hard core you can still walk around in town/heaven. (It would only be -fun though on multiplayer)
The previous 5 supplied by kingpin
is generally what is needed in d3
"evil"
dark warrior- the front ment and grunts of hells assult teams
lust slinger- bare bottom of the succubi
and teh necromacer-need i go through with it?
"Good"
lesser angel-again heavens frount line
muses-long range and deadly archer
geomancer- the powers of earth are his main focus
now from there once yoru stats reach a certian level. or a spacific skill is aquiered they evolve into something else.
liek for example.
the dark warrior. once he gets 130 str and 80 vital he changes into a dread knight.
or when he gets to a certain dex and str. he evolves in to a discord warrior.
i think that would be prity kool, that way theres no set char. line. ok start as a mage...ehh end as a mage. big deal.
start as a dark warrior. end as a (for example) greater evil....sais you whent up the ranks from rock bottom. its just an idea.
heres what i want to see in d3
scary like diablo 1
-cloaks and capes over armor
-pubs and taverns, sometime adventurers just need a few drinks, a bit of entertainment (gambling/woman) and a rest, come on who hasnt wanted to pull up a barstool and drink with geglash in act 2 or drown your sorrows in the tavern of the rising sun when playing Diablo of course
-buying alcohol for adventurous minors it’s always fun (ala baldurs gate), intoxication would work like a curse
- choose male/female => choose class => choose faction heaven or hell and some form of customization like colours of armor and if it’s 3D, body size, facial hair and the like
-somewhere between 7-20 or so chars
more warrior and mage types, there are lots of warrior classes yet to be explored;
samurai(kensai)
ninja(male assassin)
hellion
ranger
anti paladin
-since its heaven vs hell it looks like there will be a light and dark version of each char (cool)
-some more warrior classes or warriors with a few magic spells 2 isnt really enough(barbar/zon)
-there is really only 1 healer(paly) and yes people like to going healers, so more healer classes;
monks(zealots)
clerics
warrior priests (think knight's templar with spells)
-a new type of mage would be nice either a;
Abjurer specializes in protection magic (kinda like auras)
-lots more quests 27 is not enough (30 with v1.12) =>
arena quests (last man standing), can place bets on multiplayer
quest based on class (everybody does the same quest but it differs depending on which class you are)
quests differ depending on faction (evil person could choice not to kill something, or they could choose to kill a good guy instead of save him)
-quests that dont appear in quest log, (gheed wanted a gem a small weapon some gold or something didnt he)
-quests that are normal/nightmare/hell only
-some quests that are single/multiplayer only,
-quest exp (getting exp just for finishing quest)
-better quest rewards, also quest rewards improve with difficulty (such as 1 socket/imbue in normal, 2 in nightmare and 3 in hell)
-higher max skill level (20 it too low, I know skills go higher than this but you can only add to a skill 20 times, then it stops)
-an arena for dueling
-higher max level
-protect village (for x amount of time) quests, alternative invade x village (evil) I love these quests
-taking on castles/fortresses full of demons,
-the cow suit guy from diablo hellfire,
-someone like farhnam the town drunk (he was so cool),
-mercs that have better ai, can choose whether they act aggressive or passive, attack or defend, more choices, more powerful, and can use a few more items (not a full set), resurrection scrolls and be able to hire 2 max
-a generic skill tab that everybody has with find item, find potion, disarm trap pick lock and spells like that
-bring back flame wave, lightning wall, stone curse, and apocalypse
-bring back the gargoyles from diablo
-more powerful types of bad guy =>
Goat => Minotaur
Fallen => fallen brute
-mounts to make travelling faster (may or may not be able to attack be attacked if on mount)
-bigger acts (act 2 and 5 size) with more internal stages like caves and dungeons
-craggy peak stages
-version of weapons more powerful than elite
-characters to have a voice (can import voice if u wants to)
-unofficial titles by which townsfolk refer to you kind like fable =>
For killing a few witches get a witchhunter title
For killing a few daemons get a daemonhunter title
and so forth
-more people who unofficial follow you like the barbarians in act 5
-definitely no GUNS, definitely no GUNS or vampires, and half human/half something stupid, elves, dwarves, orcs, as a playable character (god I hate people who want these things)
-also witches should be like adria in d1, or the corrupt rogues, not as a playable character
-more villages/towns/cities, some ruined like tristram
-villages full of possessed people
-random npc adventurers (some dead and you can loot their stuff)
-random people who give you a quest or two
-more people in town to talk to, that don’t sell/give quests to you, like farhnam and geglash (yes people out there like to talk to these people)
-more gems/better version of gems, more runes/more powerful and more rune words
-tougher bosses (some with fewer minions)
-go to amazon/necromancer homelands plus the kingdom of westmarch and north/south of kurast (we never went there in diablo 1, 2 or LOD)
-seeing at it is heaven vs hell and we went to hell in diablo 1, 2 and LOD go to the high heavens (but not for a long time just one or two stages)
-2.5D graphics, something between what diablo 1 and 2, and neverwinter nights were
-if you can go to somewhere where it is impossible for the average person to go, dont have barrels and chests there, golden chests are ok they are special (demon horded treasure)
-roc (giant birds) that pick up your mount/baddies
-random badguys that ride on horses are charge at you
-bring back the spells books from diablo 1(plus x lvls to x spell)
-bring back the d1 shrines (plus x lvl to x spell, plus x amount to x stat)
-more uniques, and more powerful, plus more that look different from their base item
Bring back items of the pit (-x to x stat)
-bring back the succubus from diablo
-bring back the elixirs from diablo
-bring back the oils from diablo hellfire
-if the is something like the cube in d3 it should be available earlier in the game
-more transmutable items
-more craftable items
-you can receive quests from monsters (like gharbad and snotspill in diablo)
-more enemies that have a voice and say more than one line (like snotspill, zhar the mad, lazarus, gharbad)
-bring back the butcher warlord of blood and the skeleton king
-a random evil/good version of you, wandering around (like pokemon but not as lame), could be interesting
-bring back the black knights from diablo, they were so cool bursting into flames when they died
-a few quests where you are able to potentionally weaken a boss, (Na krul form hellfire, reading the books weaken him)
-bring back the cornerstone of the world so you can trade between your chars, without having someone say they'll help then steal your items)
-trophies =>
demon heads, pelts, hinds, scalps, hooves, horns, tusks (work like charms and some as items like weapons and cloaks)
-the soundtrack with shipment
-cloth map of the world
-DVD of the movies
-strategy guide comes with it, (some people need it), I pick up a few things from these books every now and again
-random shopkeepers who can sell you things outside of towns (may be singleplayer only, as pkers would have a clear shot at you, unless they were in a house or something)
-more badguys who worship a badguy and yell his name (carvers yell out rakanishu)
-could throw in some cultural references for fun (baldur's gate had a character called sir garrick and he was modeled on sir robin form monty pythons holy grail, he even sang the song), also references to Warcraft, (Warcraft had wirt’s other leg, the latter had wirts leg)
