Hey guys! So i know a lot of people have been posting about what they plan to do exactly when DIII comes out, and what their first week will consist of, whether it's them taking off work, or not leaving there computer chair and so on, haha. I know a few people have mentioned how unfortunate this release date timing is for them, but i haven't seen much talk about it. For me, i find it quite hilarious. After this long, LONG, wait for DIII the date ended up being May 15th. Well, my first day of finals is May 16th. The odds of that astound me and piss me off greatly. How about you guys? Is May 15th kind of the perfect day for DIII to be released for you? Or is it making you maybe fail some classes, haha. Let me know!
Almost perfect timing for me. My last day of school is on May 11th and I'm quitting my job on the 10th in preparation for a move. The only pesky thing is that I'm walking to get my diploma on the 19th, and I can't skip because I've already purchased the robe. (Just kidding, walking is going to be awesome)

My place really was here. I was too foolish and stubborn to notice. But, what I truly hoped for then was here. Why do I always realize it When I've already lost it.

Well damn... I envy you sir, haha. No work or school... Well i hope the move doesn't affect your gameplay too much! Whenever it is.
Terrible Timing for me personally, The week right before is the week between when my classes end and when my internship thing begins. It is really gonna suck because that is the one week I have nothing to do and I am just going to be thinking about how close Diablo is.
End of sefishness
even though I won't be able to play until after work on release I guess I should be happy because I get to play it on the release day and will probably have a decent amount of time to play over the summer. So I wish I could play it that week I have off but I will still be happy to play on the 15th.
It's my finals week of the last semester before I graduate. Fortunately I am an art major which means I will have everything finished before that week for the purpose of critiques. I also think I don't have any finals on that Tuesday so it should be open all day to playing through the story. Not bad. Kinda stressed about the time between now and then... and that whole job thing... haha. Ughh
Great for me as well, I will be finishing my degree at the end of April. I was planning to take a few months off before whatever the hell awaits me after graduation, so I'll be spending a good amount of time with Diablo 3. =D
My last day of High School is May 17th. My graduation ceremony is on May 27th and most of my classes will require me being done before the 15th. It is PERFECT for me and I get the whole next week almost to myself until I start having relatives coming in for my graduation. But I'll need that break from killing Diablo hundreds of times. As is, I plan on staying up to play D3 right when it goes live.

I don't always burn. But when I do, I use hellfire.
It's good timing with finals being over and all but it's terrible timing in terms of my summer job. I spend 7 weeks every summer training lifeguards and teaching kids to swim at a summer camp... where i have to live during this time... with...no....interwebs.... Was looking up some 4g plug ins and stuff for my laptop but i think i can just wait until the summer is over, and they are pretty out of my price range.
The good news is i have at least a solid month of uninterrupted Diablo 3 before the camp season starts. Hooray!
I don't know if this relates to the Diablo servers or not. But on the cataclysm launch i played from when it went active til that night and experienced zero problems with servers. I think that as a whole Blizzard has gotten better about managing huge waves of players.

True. I had the same experience. Although WoW servers ≠ Diablo III servers, I hope they are similar enough that there are minimal, or no, problems.

I'm sure they'll have all their bases covered. They KNOW what to expect, hopefully that stress testing in beta pays off
I'm doing an interview this week to be a wildland firefighter, if I get the job I could very well be battling through a very different type of inferno come May 15th. Probably not going to be nearly as much fun though

True. But experience with servers from WoW = experience with servers for D3. This isn't WoW launch anymore, these boys and girls know how to run a network.
Also, don't bother citing examples from the D3 beta as a counter point, it's wrong.
No date is bad for me. all i got is work and can always request days off (may 15th one of them) and also have my vacation days.... though i wont use those. only get 1 week per year for vacation

Finishing my last exam on may 10th,
I won't regret it.
You better pray pray pray that the servers stay stable

And yeah, I'm hoping and praying and crossing my fingers and my toes that the servers don't explode.
