I'm looking to upgrade my wiz http://us.battle.net...17/hero/3044347. Currently I can do mp8 easily but mp10 has been proving difficult.
The upgrades I have planned are a new CW with more DPS, but I don't know what would be more favorable to me; switching my nat's 2 set to zuni's 2 set o IC and rare ring. The important point is the LoH that I would lose with the Nat's set.
Anyway right now I'm sitting at 2.8 APS and 60% CC.
i dont really understand your problem. with your EHP and LOH amount you should be able to survive in mp10.
saying: You should be able to do it, if not, maybe your micro movement dodging skills are laking?
dont expect to be able to just stand there in mp10 with your amount of allres.
All in all thats the most lacking stat on your gear.
You dont have much all resistance - thats making your diamond skin not as effective as it could be.
If you wanna perform on mp10 like you do on mp8 now you have swap many pieces of gear.
That would cost you a fortune.
For low cost you could start with getting a cheap mempo with 3% crit and maybe swap your pants with rare ones with all res and armor , not as much vita- you dont need that much.
Later get a second good ring with Loh , as, crit and maybe some res, get some iceclimbers.
from there you can think of improving your dps
Are you dying much ? Are you taking longer to kill the monsters ? Are you running out of arcane power while casting the spells ?
You got great gear, and without more information I find it will be difficult to help...
The only 2 things I find odd at your toon on Battle.Net is that you have low life on hit for a CMWW Wiz, and you are using Conflagration as a passive, without a single fire spell. Is this because the Chantodo generates fire damage ? Does it boost your damage, measurably ?
Well, the current build I use is for party gaming. Conflag activates with the will due to the fire damage on it, that with time warp is 30% buff to the damage on the entire party, also with some debuffing for enemies inside the bubble.
Yes, the problem is that I die a lot on mp10 and I take too long to be efficient killing mobs.
Well, my actual blackthorne pants give me more EHP that equivalent ones with 70 or more AR and cost 10 times less (I'm not exaggerating the number BTW).
MP10 is difficult because your armor and resists are very low. Those are the values I recommend for MP6. You want more like 700-800 resists and around 4k armor to make MP10 reasonably easy to farm. You'll also want more like 200-250k dps to make it efficient.
If you want to see my gear recommendations, see my CMWW guide. In short I recommend switching several gear pieces, including helm, bracers, and OH at least.
I also have no idea why you are using conflag passive when you have no way to proc it. None of your skills deal fire damage and all your runes overwrite any elemental damage from your gear. You have no SC or hellfire ring to deal fire damage. In short it's a wasted passive that's better spent on blur, UA, or evocation.

Conflag activates with the will due to the fire damage on it,
False.
Chant's Will may be fire damage, but Energy Twister is arcane damage.
Magic Missile is arcane damage. Blizzard is cold damage. Venom Hydra is poison damage. Meteor Shower is fire damage. Forked Lightning is lightning damage. Explosive Blast is physical damage. Etc. etc. etc.
The only—and literally only—time any elemental bonuses or weapon elements will be transferred over to a skill is when a wizard uses Spectral Blades. The other scenario where any elemental effects come into play is when you run out of AP and auto-attack, or auto-attack with a blank left-click.
Cold-based Tal Rasha's Allegiance? Doesn't matter. Triumvirate with all those neat elemental bonuses? Doesn't matter. None of those effects do anything as long as you're using a spell that already has a designated element.
Thanks for the clarification on Conflag. Anyway at the moment I'll be going for a better chant's will, later I think zuni's, but a trifecta pox is gonna hurt.

By the way: Nice Chantodo Force!
