Optionals:

- You can switch out Focus / Restraint for CoE and Unity

- You can switch Spirit Guards in cube to Cindercoat to cast more WoL

- You can switch Esoteric to Zei's for more Damage

The idea of this build was to see how much more damage you could output, while still keeping toughness and damage reduction at higher numbers. I originally ran Cindercoat in cube, and Zei's Stone of Vengeance to allow myself the ability to stay away from heavy mobs and essentially "snipe" them. This became more problematic as I got more and more act 3 "bunker" styled maps in my GR 75+ runs. I started to see that switching to Spirit Guards and Esoteric allowed for more Toughness (around 360M+) seeing my Sweeping Winds were always active thanks to the belt.

Everything else is pretty straight forward. Sunwuko's 5-piece set, adding in Tzo Krin for accurate bell placement. The more Skill Cooldown Reduction you can get, the better. This will allow you to pop your Air Ally, granting you 100 Spirit every time, more often. You will run a Topaz in your helm to add another 12.5% CDR overall, and you can Emerald Socket your armor items. I run Kyoshiro's Soul, so right out of the gate, I am bursting my damage, and maintaining 10 stacks of Sweeping Wind, without having to melee attack an enemy. Without using a melee attack, you will get the bonus 50% damage from Focus/Restraint Set, however, you can remove that set, and utilize the CoE for a little more burst damage. This means you will be running with a companion (I use the Templar), so as my companion attacks/freezes enemies, I am able to keep distance and drop WoL. Any chance for your armor pieces, get single resist stats. This will help with getting your resists higher, to keep toughness at its highest, and allow for Harmony Passive to do its magic.

The build is versatile enough to anyone's playstyle, but this is just simply what I run.

Core is basic. Movement Speed and then the remaining into Dexterity. When you hit Paragon 800+, you can give yourself more Spirit without losing too much overall DPS.

Offense starts with CDR to help with Air Ally Spirit Regen. You can go either CHC or CHD next, all depending on what is needed more than the other at that time. Finally Attack Speed to help with casting bells faster.

Defense starts with Resist All to get Harmony bonuses. Life and Armor can be switched, but I feel the extra Life is more efficient to this build than the bonus armor. Life Regeneration is final, but honestly not really needed.

Utility starts with Area Damage, and then moves to RCR. Life on hit and Gold Find are irrelevant for this build.

Build Guide

You can use this build solo, or in a group. I have added both options so that those beginning, or new to the monk, can get a nice powerful build, and also let them build to a higher GR push.
