I feel like this build will replace the Zbarb in the meta. I am running with a similacrum Rathma necro and a zmonk, and we are clearing gr 92+ without any issue, with 4-9 minutes left depending on pack type and affixes to yellows
Helm: Leoric's Crown -
Cooldown reduction is by far the most important stat for this build to maximize the full screen freeze and massive health globe generation by means of devour - Cannibalise. It is for this reason that we choose Leoric's crown, to double the effect of our Diamond.
Shoulders: Pauldrons of the Skeleton King -
Having tried the Razeth's volition with life support mages, I find that it is a waste of time trying to maximise the corpse generation through this means. We already generate a rediculous amount of health globes without it. As such, we instead opt for the chance to ensure a deathless run for the bonus gem roll at the end, should you stand in bad shit too long
Amulet: Rakoff's Glass Of Life/Hellfire Amulet-
This amulet slot is not that important. If you want to absolutely maximize your healthglobe generation, use Rakoff's. If you want a bit more corpse generation, use Hellfire with Commander of the Risen Dead. This serves two purposes; Reduce The Cooldown of flesh golem by an astronomical 30%, and reduce the essence cost of our command skeletons(We spam this while alternating with Siphon life to proc gogok, and obsidian ring of the zodiac.) Having this passive will allow you to better keep your Aquilla Curiass Active.
Alternatively, you could opt for Halcyon's Ascent, and opt to use Shallow Graves for Land of the dead, thereby increasing The number of health globes generated by being 2 seconds longer.
Torso: Aquilla Cuirass/Requiem Cereplate -
For this slot we can use either Aquilla Curiass, or Requiem Cereplate; Whichever is better rolled. The other goes into the cube.
Wrists: Nemesis Bracers/Ancient Parthan Defenders/Reaper's Wraps -
This slot will depend on what your group is running. If they have a dedicated Pylon Popper, Opt for the Ancient Parthan Defenders for the extra damage reduction. And if you don't have either, Reaper's Wraps can occupy the slot for ensuring Aquilla Cuirass stays active.
Hands: Moribund Gauntlets -
These gloves make this build really really shine. While land of the dead is active, it accumulates corpses, Which will give a big burst of health globes at the end of Land of the Dead. While land of the dead is on cooldown, it grants a steady stream of health globes, life recovery, and essence recovery.
Waist: Dayntee's Binding/Vigilante Belt -
For the standard Necro survivability enhancement, go with Dayntee's Binding. If you want a bit more...Land of the dead in your life(or afterlife if you can't quite make the cut..) go for Vigilante Belt for that little bit of extra CDR.
Legs: Golemskin Breeches -
We use these for the 30% damage reduction. Moving on.
Feet: Illusory boots -
For our boots, we opt for the staple support item, Illusory boots. As we lack the ability to support a movement skill in this build without some serious utility loss, These are quintessential.
Rings: Lornelle's Sunstone/Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac/Oculus ring -
These three rings together make for the standard support trifecta.
I highly HIGHLY recommend the use in Lornelle's Sunstone in your cube for its full effect. It is one of the strongest survivability items in the game, Minus one shots in gr 95+, you become neigh invincible with this ring.
Weapon: In-geom/Solanium -
We opt for using in-geom for the higher base attack speed on a sword over a mace, which means more frequent use of our Obsidian ring juicer skill, Command Skeletons - Freezing Grasp. PS, We perma freeze the rift guardian.
Offhand: Storm Shield -
Finally, the Shield you should default to is the powerful Storm Shield. The % damage reduction from melee is exceptionally powerful.

Build Guide
The fabled Z Necro!
What this build does is have loads of toughness, and generates TONS of health globes, and yanks them in with the skill Siphon blood: Blood Sucker.
How to play this build:
Hold down the Devour key(you can use the numlock trick to achieve this, or jam a stick or something in your key to activate it or something), and tap spam everything else except Land of the dead. Pop land of the dead when 1: your team calls for it, 2: When you engage a large or dangerous pack., 3: When you see a channelling pylon nearby. Land of the dead is reset when the channelling pylon is hit.
As you eat corpses, you spawn health globes. you want to constantly be TAPPING the syphon blood and Command Skeletons skill as you see heath globes, because if you let it gather up first, you effectively fill their resource pool once.
With perfect Reapers wraps, you fill their resource pool with only 4 health globes. 3 is 90% filled. If there are 20 orbs on screen and you use syphon blood, you waste almost 4-5 complete refills of resource pools.
Feedback is always appreciated!
For starters, you don't need to be in the mass of mobs at all, you aren't the tank, the Zmonk is. Your job is to sit close to the dps that you are feeding, and 99% of the time, they are no where near the pack ideally.
Health globe bonus DOES help with survivability, but it isn't "required" per say. I can say this, with a zmonk with my gear as it is, I am sitting at 500 million toughness in town, before decrepify or lorinelles sunstone kicks in. I'm actually considering dropping decrepify in favor of the dash skill for mobility, and grabbing vigilantee belt, since my dps teammate uses decrepify to reduce the cooldown of his simulacrum.
A vast majority of your healing comes from Devour: Cannibalize, I see an upwards of 1.3 billion recovery when sucking in globes, and toughness spikes to 3.3-7 billion when really low life. I am nearly unkillable, with exception to molten explosions
Next up is how the damage reduction happens:
Aquilla cuirass needs higher than 90% resource to be in effect. Golemskin needs the golem to be alive to be in effect, and decrepify needs to be placed on mobs for dayntees to kick in.
If your golem dies(It does die) you lose the reduction till the cooldown is reset, aquilla drops as soon as you cast command skeletons once(you get it back immediately following a corpse devour and a tap of siphon blood) and dayntees can fall off if you aren't cursing at all. After that, the source of your toughness comes from all resists, as the monk gives a massive 40% boost to them, and that 40% multiplies the effect of Esoteric Alteration. When low life, Loranelles kicks in, as well as the lv 25 effect of the gem, giving a massive 600million PLUS boost to toughness, depending on how much life you have, and how high your resists are.
You are welcome! This build started out as a "half support" build rathma setup, to feed simulacrum singularity mages. When I got fed up with dying, I decided to go full swing support. We pushed a gr 96, and barring the annoying network disconnects, We will push into gr 97+ tonight after speeding for some caldesaan's for improved damage.
Unsurprisingly, the "Jack of all trades, master of none" rule applies here.
