Build Guide

I've been using a totally different build since the Necro came out, but wanted to see if I could find a reasonably viable pet build too. While this is somewhat still a work in progress, I've been comfortably doing T13 with this, with a pretty modest paragon level/Lgems. By no means is this build comparable with an Inarius build (which seems strongest at present), but it's a reasonable farming build which is pretty fun to play.

It's pretty simple to play: You kinda just pop Army of the Dead, begin siphoning, and pump out mages wherever the enemies are until it reaches 10. Once you get a few corpses then you can activate the golem ability to help boost DPS. Obviously you only need to activate the skeletons once per fight, but keeping them in 'active mode' is pretty key. The bulk of the DPS comes from the variety of different poisons being used, so you want to keep as many poisons going as possible at the same time. Siphoning is there, along with certain gear choices, so you can stay alive, which is made easier if you switch to Unity. Use Blood Rush regularly to avoid AOE, or playing for a better position.

Gear gems: Diamond in helm, Topaz in armour, Emerald in weapon.

Companion: I tend to use the Enchantress, using Ess of Johan, Furnace, Wyrdward (or Unity), Oculus Ring.
